Congressman Daniel Donovan – New York State tax deduction are not in new tax bill

donovanCongressman Daniel Donovan served as the district attorney for Richmond County – New York (Staten Island).  Mr. Donovan is a Republican.  In 1989 Dan Donovan became an Assistant District Attorney in the office of Robert M. Morgenthau.  He served in with the office of the New York County District Attorney under Mr. Morgenthau until 1996. Later Donovan became Chief of Staff to then Staten Island Borough President Guy V. Molinari prior to running for District Attorney.  He has seen several high-profile cases – including the convening of a Grand Jury in the death of Eric Garner in 2014.   Congressman Donovan was elected to Congress in a special election after the sitting Congressman Mike Grimm resigned in disgrace and was sentenced to prison.  Congressman Donovan is known for his hard work and top draw constituency service.
