About Ron Johnson
Senator Ron Johnson – R-WI – is the senior United States Senator for Wisconsin.
Prior to his election to the Senator was chief executive officer of PACUR – LLC – a polyester and plastics manufacturer. After Senator Johnson’s election to the Senate – he liquidated all his business assets to avoid any hint of conflict of interest while serving in office. When Wisconsin elected Senator Johnson – one of the most conservative members of the Senate – the state switched from Senator Russ Feingold one of the most liberal members. Even though Senator Johnson is a freshman Senator he serves on some of the most prestigious committees in the Senate – he is the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee – serves on the Foreign Relations – Budget – and the Commerce – Science – and Transportation.
