Dr. Andrew Kolodny – FDA missed chance control opiods

Dr. Andrew Kolodny is one of the nation’s leading experts on the prescription opioid and heroin crisis. He is Co-Director of the Opioid Policy Research Collaborative at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. Dr. Andrew Kolodny is the founder and Executive Director of Physicians for Responsible Opioid Prescribing (PROP), an anti-opioid activist group that has lobbys enactment of stronger measures to limit prescribing of opioid pain medication.   Served as Chief Medical Officer for Phoenix House, a national nonprofit addiction treatment agency and Chair of Psychiatry at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City.
