Speaker 1 It’s Sunday morning, and one of my good, very good friends. We have Andy Saban, who had a terrific phenomenal birthday party last night, Saturday night, and and his friend Viv Zoo, and we want to talk about and he’s the founder of Hope for Fur, saving dogs, cats and all kinds of animals because he loves animals. And tell us Andy Saban,

happy birthday again and tell us about saving the animals.

Speaker 2 Yeah, this is Hope for Fur. We brought seventy five dogs in so far from China. China each twenty million dogs a year. I spent twenty five thousand a month bringing in five to ten dogs every month from China.

We adopted ourselves Saint Bernard. But this was all Viv’s brain child. Her mother was feeding dogs in Shenyang, China, and she called up VV one day and said, the truck is here from this slaughterhouse and they have thirty nine dogs. They’re going to eat them tomorrow. So I told the mother buy the truckload of dogs. And that

was my introduction to saving dogs in China.

Speaker 1 Wow, well that’s a big birthday present. Saving thirty nine dogs from sudden death and be eaten by people, and I mean it’s a different culture. I guess it’s a different world and we’re not used to that in America.

Speaker 2 It’s really sad. They eat twenty million dogs a year. So we had six dogs come in last night. The dogs come to a rescue in the Hampton’s call Off Animal Rescue of the Hamptons. They spend two weeks there and then they’re put up for adoption, every single dog.

We had twenty seven people on a way for one dog last month that they love our Chinese dogs and all of the dogs speak Chinese.

Speaker 1 Well, I look forward to seeing you again. It was a great birthday party last night. Happy birthday again and we’ll catch up again real soon.

Speaker 2 All right, John, thank you very much for your time. Have a great day.
