Dr. Pamela Newman was selected by the Acting Secretary of the Army, Ryan D. McCarthy, to represent south New York. Each state, the District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories have one or more CASAs appointed to provide a vital link between the Army and the communities for which they serve. CASAs are usually business or civic leaders who possess a keen interest in the welfare of the Army and their communities. Dr. Newman is a highly regarded international insurance broker, specializing in Fortune 500 clients worldwide, and a world-renowned business strategist and author. She is chairman of The Newman Team at Aon, an independent strategic advisor to Aon. Dr. Newman is actively involved in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the Council on Foreign Relations, the Economic Club of New York, the Police Athletic League of New York, and serves as a member of the Business Executives for National Security.
