Well, John, first and foremost, we’re very excited. Everyone on Stateland’s very excited that you’re here with us, and we love it and we thank you and we look forward to doing some amazing work for the Borough of Staten Island.
Right now, we’re gearing up for the season. It’s been a long off season for us as we’re getting the ballpark prepared. We’ll open up the ballpark hopefully on April twenty fourth, as we kick off another season here. But we’re gonna have a lot of fun this year. We have a great promotional lineup set up. You know, we’re
really focusing in on our New York City all the anniversaries this year that are happening for two hundred and fiftieth anniversary the twenty fifth anniversary of nine to eleven, you know, and the venue this year is going to be really put on spotlight because of FIFA and everything happening in New York City. So the venue itself, you know,
we play baseball here, but we are an entertainment center. We have a lot of great events coming up with FIFA coming, We’ll be hosting the FDM why twenty fifth anniversary, and so a lot of good things happening, and we’re very very excited right now.
And I understand that we’re going to be bringing in soccer besides baseball.
Yes, so soccer is you know, soccer is in New York City now, It’s prevalent here. Our venue is beautiful, and you know the other day I had to walk through with some people from the city and I showed them the skyline John and I told them, I said, we are the New York City venue. Look at the skyline.
We’re going to do a lot of great things here in soccer is one of them. So we’re very excited about that too.
Well what else can you tell about all the good things happening in stan Island?
Well, the great things are happening is that island right now, I feel. And one of the things is great for people around New York City, you know, the New York City Fast Ferry is a new addition to you know, Staten Island to New York City and we’ll be able to travel. We’ll get people from Brooklyn from Manhattan to
Staten Island now. And like I like to call this, John, this is the three corners that we’ve touched in life, which is you start in Brooklyn, sometimes you move to Manhattan, and then you go to Staten Island, just like he did, which is great, and thank you and doing all this here, it gives all the fans in New York City a
way of getting to the ballpark easier. That’s one way of doing it. To Stand Island train system. We’re working with them now to do a fan car to get more people here easier. And it’s going to be a great it’s going to be a great summer.
I really will understood. Well, Gary Pern, thank you so much for coming on and keep us informed. So we should tell all all the listeners and all the fans and go go Ferry Hoffs, go howfs and God bless and thank you so much.
