George Tsandikos – St. Nicholas Church at Ground Zero, getting on track

George TsandikosGeorge Tsandikos is a lawyer and the Chairman of Leadership 100 and he is the new Vice Chairman of the Archdiocesan Council of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.  He was born and raised in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and he graduated Brown University and Boston College Law School. He is the Managing Director of Rockefeller & Co Inc and before that J.P. Morgan Private Bank. He was inaugurated as the Chairman of Leadership 100 on February 15, 2014. Newspapers across the Country have printed articles which read, ‘construction of St. Nicholas Church which was destroyed on 9/11 has been boarded up and shut down.’ Sources in the paper say the church has raised approximately $50 million in donations and pledges, however, construction cost grew from estimated $25 million to over $80 million.
