Alternative treatment for sleep apnea

Maurits Boon, MD, Jefferson University Physician, Co-Director Jefferson Voice and Swallowing Center Specialties are Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Sleep Medicine. Dr Boon is one of a select group of physicians who is double board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Sleep Medicine. He received his MD training from State University of New York in Buffalo in 1995. After Medical School, he pursued a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University. Recognizing the challenge in treating patients affected by Sleep Apnea and Snoring, he subsequently pursued additional training and received board certification in Sleep Medicine. He has numerous publications and has authored book chapters on Surgical treatments of sleep apnea as well as parotid gland trauma.
