Raymond Aalbue Chairman, Brooklyn’s 150th Memorial Day Parade. The Nation’s oldest continuous Memorial Day Parade. The parade starts at 11:00 AM Monday, May 29, 2017 , Bay Ridge. Begins along Third Avenue from 78th Street to Marine Avenue to Fourth Avenue then to 101st Street at John Paul Jones Park. Marching bands, bagpipe bands, 8 floats, veterans groups, military units, sailors and Marines from Fleet Week ships. Post parade ceremonies in John Paul Jones Park featuring America’s Tenor Danny Rodriguez singing the National Anthem, wreath layings, a 21-cannon salute by the Veteran Corps of Artillery in War of 1812-era dress uniforms, and echo taps by the Fort Hamilton Marching Regiment.
