About Rebecca Harary

Rebecca Harary is the Republican candidate for the for the open seat in the 4th City Council District on the East Side. Ms. Harary is the Republican, Reform, Libertarian, Women’s Equality and the Stop de Blasio lines. Ms. Harary identifies herself as a “Mike Bloomberg Republican.” An accomplished problem solver who transcends party labels, Rebecca has an excellent chance of capturing the seat. Over the last 12 years, Rebecca has founded two non-profit schools; The Imagine Academy for Autism and The Yeshiva Prep High School for children with mild learning challenges. She recently finished her tenure as the Founding Executive Director of the Moise Safra Community Center, where she raised over $25 million for the construction of a new, state-of-the-art building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
