Speaker 1 What is today this Sunday morning, is Governor PATTACKI one of the greatest governors in New York State has ever had. Governor. So many things happened this week, the trial of President Trump, so many things Israel. Where do you want to begin this Sunday morning.

Speaker 2 Well, I think the most important news and the status moves is the outcome of the trial of Trump in Manhattan. Now rose on the political left or supporters of Biden, I’m sure are ecstatic and sharing, But I think whether you’re for Biden or Trump, this is a sad day for America, a very sad day for America because we

have seen the justice system abused and used for partisan political reasons, and I think it is just something that is a huge blow to people’s confidence in the rule of law in America.

Speaker 1 I agree with you one hundred ten percent. What is I mean? I joked about it, which it’s a very bad joke, like the movie My Cousin Vinny, where you get stuck in a small town and you can go to jail. I mean, this is what’s happening, is how can they go after the president of the United States,

the major contender. Where does he get appealed to.

Speaker 2 It’s incredible, John. You know, here you have a district attorney who’s a terrible district attorney, a partisan left wing guy who ran for office in the Democratic primary, saying I’m going to get Trump. So you know, it’s not about him looking at what’s right or wrong, it’s about his politics. Then you have it before a judge which

contributed to Biden and whose daughter works for the Democratic candidates around the country, gets paid hundreds of thousands of dollars and raises millions of dollars for Democrats, and he’s not taken off the case. So you have a partisan judge, a partisan prosecutor going after the leading candidate for president of the United States. And it’s just a horrible statement

of our criminal justice system, certainly in New York State. And as you said, where does it go from here? He can appeal. I’m sure he will appeal. My as a lawyer, I believe he would win the appeal. There are dozens of reasons where this judge just totally trampled the rule of law and precedents that existed before. But

the problem is the appeal probably won’t be resolved until after the election. In November. This isn’t about convicting Trump. This is about hurting him in the election. And to use our justice system for this partisan political benefit is a disgrace. It’s wrong, and I don’t think whether you’re pro Biden or pro Trump, no one should be cheering

this verdict. It is a sad day for America.

Speaker 1 I agree, Governor, And they know they’re going to be reversed on this, but I heard two different things that all they want you to do is to get front page on every use paper in the country. Trump guilty, and when it’s reversed, he’ll be on page thirty nine is fine print.

Speaker 2 Yeah, and probably after the election. You know, I just am so upset about this. You know, Stalin, you mentioned my cousin Vinnigan not getting a fair trial in a particular jurisdiction. Stalin Joseph Stalin said, you find the man, and I’ll find the crime. And that’s what happened with Trump here. It wasn’t about the crime. It was about

getting the person, and for the moment, they got the person. And that just sends the wrong message about whether or not people can have faith in our judicial system. And you have to have faith in our institutions for this country to survive, and this underminds it enormously, and it’s just I can’t tell you how upset about it, not

just about the political implications, but about the public attitude towards the rule of law and justice in America. And you know, just think about it. You mentioned my cousin Vinny and a jurisdiction when Biden’s out of office, wants to prevent a district attorney in some rural county in Texas prosecuting him for millions of dollars for damage done

by illegal aliens because he didn’t uphold his oath of office on the border and him losing. You know, they have opened a can of worms here that can go anywhere and is just ultimately destructive of the American people’s faith in our government and our rule of law. And I think it’s a sad day for It should be

a sad day for everyone. I don’t think half the country’s feeling that way because they think it’s great that they got Trump. They didn’t get Trump. They distorted the rule of law in our country for partisan purposes, and that will come back to haunt America.

Speaker 1 And Governor I understand on the latest poll, seventy percent of the people say that it’s politically motivated, but they still you know, every every headline says Trump guilty.

Speaker 2 Absolutely, And you know, I think most Americans understand it’s politically motivated. But uh, you know, in an ad next October when Biden’s running ads say Trump has awfully has done this and done that and by the way, is a convicted felon. You know, it’s going to have an impact.

And you know, if you’re an undecided voter who hasn’t looked at this and doesn’t understand brags partisan in ideological history or the judge’s partisan in ideological history, it’s going to have an impact. So I think it’s just it’s going to have an impact on this election, which is unfair.

But more importantly, I think it’s going to have a lasting impact on people’s attitude towards whether or not our judicial system is fair or partisan. And that is ultimately the worst thing about this decision government.

Speaker 1 So today is Sunday is really Independence State parade on Fifth Avenue in New York? What is happening? What’s your opinion? What is happening with Israel? Israel thought they had the loyalty of the President of the United States, and who knows what they have.

Speaker 2 Absolutely, it’s been very confusing from Biden. Here is one day said you have to stop your delayed on shipments. Then he said okay. And I have no idea other than the fact that Biden changes his mind and important issues like this every single day. But you know, ever since World War Two, since the Holocaust, the mantra of

the Jewish people, whether they’re in Israel or America, has been never again, We’re never going to allow genocide against the Jewish people to not go punished. On October seventh, it was genocide. This wasn’t a military operation. This was an operation to kill as many Jews as possible, whether they were little kids, senior citizens, or military people, kill

them all. And Israel rightfully said this is our and Ntyeh actually said this, this is our never again moment. If we mean when we said never again, we’ll genocide against Jews go unpunished. We have got to destroy Jimas.

And if I’m the American president, I’m saying he’s absolutely right. Hamas cannot be allowed to exist. Israel has to do what it needs to do to destroy Jimas. My understanding is they’re doing and the best job conceivable to limit civilian casualties. But when you have Hamas hiding among the civilians, using the civilians as shields, building tunnels and warehouses for

the rockets, in the midst of schools and hospitals, there are going to be tragically civilian casualties. So I think the president has been weak on this. I think it has been weak on just about everything. But in Israeli Independence Day, I think we should all says engaged in an active genocide against the Jewish people. They cannot be

allowed to continue to exist.

Speaker 1 Governor Pataki, thank you for everything you’ve done for New York and our country and the world, and thank you for what you continue to do. And God bless you, and God bless America.

Speaker 2 Well, thanks so much, John, God bless you too. Thank you,
