Automated transcript · uncorrectedWhat is this morning? Christine Sarrano Glasner and she’s running for the US Senate in New Jersey and the voting has been done already for the primary. Christine, tell me what are the big issues and what are you telling people?
And I hope you are in a lead.
We are in the lead. John, good morning, Thank you so much for having me on. We have been fighting this good fight and New Jersey deserves better. Everybody knows what the issues are. New Jersey ties with New York for being the most expensive and the highest tax state in the country, and people need relief from that. This
Biden inflation is just destroying families’ futures and their ability to save for their children and save for their retirement. So I’m out there fighting. I’m in the lead over my opponent who is an anti Trump Democrat donating Republican charading as a Republican and people need to understand that and they need to know who the real conservative, real
Republican candidate is out here, and that’s me. And I’m connecting with the voters. I’m out every single day. We’re on the phone, we’re knocking on doors, and people know it’s time to vote. Everybody it’s time to vote. If you still have your vote by mail ballot, you got to get that in. And is you to vote for Christine?
Christ go ahead? Finished your sentence, Christine.
I’m asking people, let’s vote for Christine’s Serano Glassner. I am the Trump endorsed candidate. And right now, John, Yeah, and I heard you on Rita Cosby last night. We know what happened. It’s a travesty for this country. And Donald Trump is going to need all of the support he can get, true support, not people that pretend to
support him and actually support his opponents.
And when is the actual primary of voting in person?
Tuesday? June fourth? Just this coming Tuesday. We’ve got a few days left. You can vote in person until I believe it’s Sunday, but you can vote in you can vote I’m sorry early, and then you can vote in person on June fourth.
Understood. And the big key differences between you and your opponent, why should they vote for you versus your opponent? Give me the top three reasons.
Well, I have the actual experience, John, and I think that that’s what’s important. I started out my career as a chef. I’ve been in government, executive positions for twenty plus years, and I am a mayor and a mom.
My opponent doesn’t have any of those experience. He’s a businessman. He’s an elitist, wealthy businessman who doesn’t understand the actual voters. He doesn’t have the policy or regulatory experience that I have, and he does not really support Republicans. He’s got a long history of supporting Democrats. This state needs somebody who’s consistent, who is strong and courageous and will speak up for
them and deliver back for people in New Jersey because people can tribute much more than they get back here in New Jersey from the federal government, and that is my goal. My goal is going to be to make sure people feel that we’re getting our needs taken care of.
Like flooding is a huge issue here in New Jersey. That’s something that has to be taken care of, and the Feds need to look at this and we need to get some funding back for that. My opponent doesn’t really touch on any of the specifics, and he’s got a long record. He’s a tax cheat, took advantage of
tax benefits in New York while he was also running as if he was a New York State resident while he was running for New Jersey US Senate and admitted to it, but blamed somebody else for it. He worked for worked with I’m Sorry, a Chinese company that was connected to the Communist Party in China from twenty seventeen
to twenty nineteen. He admits to that, I mean, this is this is the kind of thing that Bob Menendez has shown that he does. We need somebody with integrity, and that’s me. I have a solid record which he is trying to varnish with false information. People in my town understand that I deliver and that is exactly John,
what I will do for New Jersey and I will stand by Donald Trump, which is what needs to happen right now.
Christine Serrano Glasner, thank you. Good luck this Tuesday when I count up everything and we’ll talk to you right after that.
Thank you so much, thank you, thank you. John
