Inside the Government’s Hidden UFO Investigation

0:22 Jay Stratton, tell us a little bit about yourself.

0:26 Speaker 2 Well, thanks for having me. I spent almost 33 years with the U.S. government between the military and civil service from the battlefield to the national intelligence community. And of those 33 years, about 16 of those was studying unidentified area phenomena or UAP and non-human intelligence life, intelligent life on behalf of the U.S.

0:47 Speaker 1 Government. Now, what period of time did you start studying about that and you went off and You went off into a separate division of the Pentagon that was doing this?

1:02 Speaker 2 Yeah, so in 2005, I was at the Defense Intelligence Agency, and I was the chief of Air and Space Warfare, where I was responsible for emerging and disruptive threats. And I understood our technology and programs, those black programs, out 20, 30, 40 years. So I knew what the United States was doing.

1:21 And I was also responsible for understanding the worldwide aerospace technologies of all of our adversaries, China.

1:26 Speaker 1 Russia, et cetera.

1:28 Speaker 2 And it was during that period that I was presented with a video of a black triangle flying over a nuclear missile silo here in the United States. And this black triangle was flying in ways that I couldn’t comprehend.

1:42 As an aerospace engineer, it was flying in a way that looked to defy gravity. And I went all over the government just to double-check to make sure that this absolutely wasn’t a program of ours. I confirmed it wasn’t.

1:55 Speaker 2 Wasn’t any of our adversaries. And that’s really the spark that started the entire process of creating the first U.S. government program at DIA following the closure of Air Force’s Blue Book in 1969. In 2008, we created a program called OSAP. So from 1969 to 2008, we really had no government program tracking these UAP daily and trying to

2:16 understand and comprehend this aviation safety and security concern over our skies.

2:21 Speaker 1 Well, I’ve been studying this for over 50 years, so maybe I’m a little bit older than you. So when you went into this in 2005, I guess you were not privileged to some of the information that was before, from 1947, if we use that Roswell as a source of, I guess, timeline when UFOs became popular. Right.

2:52 Speaker 2 So a lot of, I was able to catch up, you know, through normal reading and things available to everybody. But during the course of my investigation at the Program and Defense Intelligence Agency in 2008, as I started digging into this deeper, is when I uncovered this deeply hidden program we call the Legacy Program, or it’s called the

3:12 Legacy Program, which is comprised of CIA, Air Force, Department of Energy agents, and defense contractors and, and their role is to capture, recover, and reverse engineer these craft of non-human technology. And as I was talking and working with the senior executive within the defense, uh, contractor community, uh, Over a series of months, we got more comfortable, and

3:37 he really is the guy who opened up and told me all of his history on this program. And it was very frustrating for me as the guy responsible for UAP for the defense or UAP for the intelligence community to know that this program that has potentially all of these answers existed, and they weren’t sharing with anyone. I mean,

3:57 put yourself in my shoes. Imagine if I’m the guy who’s supposed to be briefing counterterrorism concerns to the president, and there’s this whole program in the government that understands everything about al-Qaeda, but isn’t telling anyone anything, and 9-11 happens.

4:12 So my real concern was trying to get in there, understand what they know, and letting that broaden my knowledge. But that never really... stand to fruition as far as the deeper context of actually being able to get involved in the reverse engineering of the craft myself.

4:30 Speaker 1 Well, I guess the point we’re looking at is 1947 with Roswell, and that began a whole new generation of reports. And there’s no doubt in my mind that we used that opportunity to reverse engineer a lot of products that came.

4:51 along with those craft, and that the fact is that if you look at our science, we have moved at warp speed just about our science, whether it’s health, electronics, et cetera, et cetera, since 1947. Would you agree to that?

5:14 Speaker 2 I do. You know, this program is working well. Really in a secret cold war race with our adversaries to reverse engineering this technology and the country that cracks this technology first will be the superpower for hundred years plus to come and And my real concern in talking with the senior executive at one of the defense contractors was

5:35 that he was working with us or trying to move one of these craft over to the Defense Intelligence Agency because I had this program that had $ 22 million in funding provided from Congress to build this world-class team of aerospace engineers, physicists. and all kinds of different individuals that were all cleared and able to work on these kinds

5:57 of things so that we could broaden the number of people and the number of brains on this problem. If you think about the security wrapped around this, and at least the way it was explained to me, It would be like trying to build a car where the guy who’s working on the engine can’t talk to the guy

6:11 who’s working on the transmission or the guy who’s building the body. There’s no communication between those different silos of information. So how are we going to see the success that we could see without opening up the aperture a bit and sharing and bringing in more brands? So really, that’s where...

6:27 Where we were when I was working on it.

6:29 Speaker 1 I mean, before you published your book, did the agencies go over your book and what you could publish and what you can’t publish?

6:39 Speaker 2 Yeah. They did. My book went through a 10-month security review process, and every agency involved, there’s 21 different agencies, had to review the book and clear it for publication. So I did go through a very extensive security review process.

6:56 And as you can see, when you read the book, it is very detailed, and I certainly didn’t hold back. I mean, if you look at everything that I’m providing in there, the fact that we– And tell us... Well, we want you to sell.

8:10 Speaker 2 Okay. Well, and it’s hard and sold. The book takes the reader behind the scenes of my 16 plus years investigating this. And I want to bring the reader into the room with me almost. I don’t hold back. I provide details on encounters with non-human intelligent life. I talk about previously.

8:26 Speaker 1 Were you there or this is? Were you there or was it hearsay on the computers that you found in the agency that you were working at?

8:38 Speaker 2 No, the details on encounters with non-human intelligence in life involved me and others, directly involved me. Okay, so tell us about the ones that involved you. Well, over the 16 years of investigating this, as you can imagine, my work was very classified and I couldn’t talk about this at home. And during the course of studying and non-human

9:10 intelligent life, they started investigating me and they came to my home and started involving my family. So where before I could never ever.

9:20 Speaker 1 Talk about this. Theoretical people that they call men in black.

9:26 Speaker 2 No, no, no, no, no. I’m talking about non-human intelligent life.

9:29 Speaker 1 They came and investigated you.

9:32 Speaker 2 Yes. So I had over a number of years and ongoing today, my family, myself, with our own eyes, we had interactions with non-human intelligent life and UAP at my home.

9:44 Speaker 1 And your family testified to that?

9:48 Speaker 2 Absolutely. They are as much a part of this as I am.

9:52 Speaker 1 So what did you find out that was new revelations that’s in your book? How many species are there?

10:03 Speaker 2 Let me tell you. The key revelation is that we’re not the only intelligent life in the universe. And we don’t know the intent of the non-human intelligent life that’s here. And that should be very concerning. We don’t know why they’re here and what they’re doing. And that we have this ongoing military activity over military sites and nuclear sites.

10:22 And on top of that, we have... UAP presenting a safety of flight concern for military and civilian aviation. So the book goes into those encounters. The book talks about these UAP cases over the bases and other air-sensitive military sites that no one’s heard about previously. But important, and also I’ll go into the details on the recovered craft,

10:42 descriptions of what we have. and the true government efforts to lure these UAP in. So we learned over years that the trend is that they are attracted to nuclear sources between the missile silos, nuclear weapons storage areas, nuclear submarines, nuclear aircraft carriers. So I use that to lure these things in to better study what we were seeing. I

11:04 go into the extent of that 80-year cover-up that I talked about, you know, all the way from Roswell, Florida, uh, and the definitive behind the scenes history of the modern day UAP, uh, programs and the government. So I really want to get the reader, this bigger sense of we’ve had a lot going on behind the scenes, that this

11:19 is a very real topic, a very real concerning issue. And tell us about the heart of it.

11:25 Speaker 1 I mean, it’s been, tell us about these aliens. Tell us, you know, we only got about four minutes left and I’d like to get as much as we can. Tell us about these aliens, uh, that, uh, came to you and your family, were you able to communicate with them?

11:44 Speaker 2 So I think aliens is a terrible term only in that we don’t understand the origin of them. That’s why I like the term non-human intelligent life. Now, I had numerous encounters, as did my wife and my children, and I’ve been married for 30 years. I have two boys.

12:26 Speaker 2 The best, so the understanding of this non-human intelligent life is very complex. And a good example I can give you of, of communication of sorts. It’s not a conversation. It’s not sitting down and doing an interview. It was the fact that throughout those 16 plus years, my career took me on all kinds of paths. I, I, in

12:49 the middle of working in this UAP topic, because our world, you know, our country was at war, the global war on terror, you don’t have to leave and go to Iraq for six months or, or Afghanistan for six months for other things. So, um, I, on many occasions, felt like this topic was overwhelming maybe my family at times.

13:10 I can imagine this is very hard.

13:12 Speaker 1 Was there any communications with them?

13:16 Speaker 2 Yeah, I’m getting there. So the... Every time that I felt like I don’t want to work this topic anymore, something dramatic would happen at home, either an event where non-human intelligent life presented itself in some form or fashion, or these UAP, these spherical orbs, we call them, would be there and say, Kind of a demonstration of this

13:40 stuff is happening. Keep paying attention. This is important. And I would continue to work on behalf of the American people to bring this forward. And here I am today being very, very public and trying to.

13:52 Speaker 1 Were you able to communicate where they’re from? Were you able to communicate how many species there are?

14:03 Speaker 2 No, nothing like that. And I have to imagine that this legacy program I talked about has a lot more of those answers. I do not have those answers. After 16 years of investigating this, I don’t have those answers.
