Speaker 1 With US today’s country’s leading economist, Larry Kudlow. Larry, where the heck are we?

Speaker 2 Well, it’s all kind of interesting. Stocks up almost eight hundred points in the last two days, market interest rates are plunging. The ten year bond is down almost a full percentage point in the last couple of weeks. Saudi Opec cut production, but oil is falling.

Speaker 1 Is exact when nobody believes they cut.

Speaker 2 It well, I think it believes there’s a global recession developing, is what I think they’re gonna They will cut back on production, but Brent crude down below eighty dollars a barrel, so that’s quite interesting. The ISM manufacturing report fell again.

I think it’s the ninth or tenth consecutive decline for US manufacturing. And if that weren’t good enough, Ron Defannas cleaned Gavin Newsom’s clock night.

Speaker 1 I did watch it. I did watch it, and the comparison to where would you rather live, Florida or California, there was no doubt about it. It had to be Florida.

Speaker 2 Yeah, well, I mean yeah, listen, thirteen percent tax versus zero, that’s right, there’s probably all you need to know. But lower unemployment, less government spending, people migrating to Florida. And it’s true for all the Red states. I mean, the idea of less government spending, lower taxes, lower regulations, even drill baby drilled. I mean, that’s what the Red States

are doing. And they’re attracting people and businesses left and right. So it’s a very interesting story. Sean Hannity did a great job. I think as the host, Gavin Newson had a bad night. He kept denying the facts. You can’t do that. That’s not a good debating tactic when you’re looking right at the numbers. And Ron de Sant has

had a good night.

Speaker 1 I do believe you’re absolutely right there. Ron DeSantis did have a good night. He’s doing a good job in Florida, and he’s just got to get his people skills up.

Speaker 2 Yeah, well he does, Yes, that’s true. But he helped himself for the future. I don’t think it changed anything. I think Trump’s going to be the Republican nominee. But the key point that Sean Hannity was interested in was how the Red states are kicking butt over the Blue states.

And that’s really the key point, and I think that came out last night. It was really a very good debate. But again, these markets doc love lower interest rates. Now they may not love them if lower interest rates are going to spell recession next year, which I still believe is a very strong possibility. But for the moment, the

cudload trust is doing very well, the Dallas rallying like crazy. Oil prices are down, Aileen, prices are down, And the only I think.

Speaker 1 I want is Joe Biden going to stand up and say Biden nomics works.

Speaker 2 Well, he won’t if there’s a recession, that’s for sure. But anyway, I was going to say something brilliant, but I forgot it when you interrupted.

Speaker 1 Oh my god, I apologize. I apologize for interrupting with Larry.

Speaker 2 You know, a good house never interrupts John just.

Speaker 1 Saying I’m still learning.

Speaker 2 You know, well, I know you’re doing a good job. You’re coming along nicely, but every now and then there’s a.

Speaker 1 Swift, Well might apologize. Well, Larry Kudlow, I hope you have a great weekend, and thank you for calling in.

Speaker 2 My great pleasure. Bye, everybody, Ca
