Speaker 1 What is today’s Governor Cuomo, And he has a match on his hand. Of this Tuesday, he is matching up with Scaramucci the much and negative go at it for two hours on the right and the left and punch for punch, Governor Cuomo, tell us, tell us about that two hours special. You’re gonna be participating with Anthony Scaramucci.

Speaker 2 Well, good to be with you, John. I’m excited about it, and I think it’s a positive, positive step forward. Look, we spend too much time talking to each other, meaning that we just talk to people who agree with us. Right.

Conservatives watch conservative TV, listen to conservative radio. Those on the left do the same, and then it’s just it reinforces what you already think. And we’re getting further and further they’re divided in two different camps. We’re never going to resolve any issue unless we’re willing to talk it through with each other, not just what the liberals think

and what the conservatives think. We have political paralysis right now.

Speaker 1 You you’ve always been a Democrat all your life. Scaramuccie was worked for President Trump a whole ten days at the White House. Uh and uh so you you you both come from different points of view. So what do you think is going to happen on Tuesdays, Tuesday, one o’clock to three o’clock, a special of Scaramucci and Governor Cuomo.

What do you think will happen?

Speaker 2 Look, let’s uh, Anthony Scaramucci is a very bright guy. Uh knows these issues well. Republican Conserva. Let’s talk it out. Let’s argue it out, Let’s debate it out. Let’s hear both sides, because it’s the only way you’re going to resolve anything right. Nobody’s right all of the time. And when you just have conservatives patting each other on the

back or you just have liberals patting each other on the back, you’re not getting anywhere. And that’s where this country is now. Two different camps. They don’t talk to each other. Let’s talk it out.

Speaker 1 Let’s agree, I agree, both of us. We always talked about that there’s got to be more common sense in America, like there’s always been in the days of Ronald Reagan and and was it Tip O’Neil from Boston and the days of a newk gingriage and President Bill Clinton. They didn’t necessarily like each other, but they sat around the

table and made a deal, and right now Washington is not doing that.

Speaker 2 You’re exactly right. You have two polar camps, polar extremes, each one insisting they’re right and really refusing to talk to the other. Right. And that then is not just in the political governmental world, it’s resonated through media. Conservatives listen to conservative media, Liberals listen to liberal media, and you get the same message. Yeah, so you have this

divide from government through the whole political system. It’s not going to solve anything. John Let’s talk it out. Let’s argue it out.

Speaker 1 Well, the governor. The other big problem is the other big problem is that there’s so many drugs coming to America from foreign lands and nobody’s doingything about it. Our borders are broken right now, Our universities, the students are fighting with each other instead of of of talking to each other and coming up with more common sense solutions.

Speaker 2 Johnny Wright, we have major problems. They’re only getting worse, and we don’t have the ability to even sit down to fashion a solution. We’re not even talking about solutions. We’re pointing fingers, we’re blaming each other, but we’re not we’re not charting a pass forward and to do that, you have to hear both sides. Uh, and and let’s

and let’s find out what makes sense. And uh, let’s be willing to talk talking through honestly.

Speaker 1 Are you and SCRAMULTI friends?

Speaker 2 Uh? Anthony and I know each other. I respect him, We’re friends. We have different points of view, but you’re gonna have different points of view and you can be friends.

Speaker 1 Yes, And I look forward to listening. Uh what is it one o’clock, the three three o’clock on WABC radio dot com worldwide, And I look forward to listening to you on Tuesday, and uh, we’ll see where the things go.

What say you?

Speaker 2 I say it’s a necessary first step for this country. We have to realize that we have major problems. We’re not making progress, we’re not striving for compromise or solutions. We’re not even willing willing to listen to the other side.

We’re not we’re not even listening to the other side. And that’s why this is important.

Speaker 1 Agreed. I’ll be seeing you on Tuesday one o’clock and everybody the whole world will be listening to you. Guys. I look forward to it, and we’ll catch you up then. Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 Great Grey. Good to talk to you, John,
