John C.:                Good Morning America. This is the Cats Roundtable. John Catsimatidis here. With us this morning is Kimberly Guilfoyle, formerly of Fox and co-host of Fox at Five and vice chairperson of America First and now senior advisor to President Donald Trump for the reelection campaign. Good morning, Kimberly. How are you?

Kimberly G:         Phenomenal. Great to be with you, John. It’s very exciting. The job numbers that we saw that came out with our unemployment rate’s dropping to 3.6%. That is the lowest level since 1969. yes. I’m proud to own that year. That was the year I was born.

John C.:                Wow. You know, you’re much younger than me.

Kimberly G:         Very exciting.

John C.:                Yeah. It’s the lowest unemployment for all the community, for the Hispanic community, for the black community, for the Asian community. That’s very exciting. Why is Washington such a mess?

Kimberly G:         Yeah. I think what’s incredible is that we’ve seen throughout history that when the economy is robust, then we certainly have one thanks to the Trump economy. You know, presidents get reelected. So this is very auspicious going into a 2020 reelect with about 16 different candidates trying to run against the president. They’re going to primary and beat each other up. But in the meantime, the American people are winning and really record low unemployment. It’s been so incredible to see these numbers. These are winning and working for the American people like record low unemployment for women, for African Americans, for Asian Americans, for Latinos and also the children, the youth of America, to be able to get a job when they graduate, thanks to President Trump. I mean, he’s a business man who signs the front of a paycheck, not just the back of a paycheck.

Kimberly G:         Okay? So he gets what it takes to make this economy work and move. We’re looking at great projects in terms of infrastructure. He’s tackled issues as it relates to national security, making us safer and stronger, rebuilding the military, taking care of the vets, he’s tackling immigration, issues that are normally intractable. He’s saying, I’m not going to shy away from it. I’m actually gonna jump into it and make sure that we get what we deserve as a country and respect the rule of law. And that’s why he’s saying that he’s going to fulfill an honor yet another one of his campaign promises to build the wall to protect the communities, protect this country, secure our borders. And I worked in a sanctuary city in San Francisco and I saw all too well, when the rule of law is disrespected, you can’t even ask the defendant when you’re in court, their true name or identity without getting push back from the defense attorneys in the court room.

Kimberly G:         It’s just unbelievable. And all he’s saying is let’s just enforce the laws that are on the books right now. What’s wrong with that? And honestly, like I come from an immigrant background, first generation, my mother was born [inaudible 00:03:08], my father born in Ireland. My father became a United States citizen the right way. He didn’t cut the line. He said, okay, I’m so honored to be able to have the opportunity, the chance to become part of this country, served the United States military, worked hard to be able to provide for his family. And John, I’ve traveled this country and Don Junior and I did 70 rallies all during the midterm elections, which again, President Trump outperform and exceeded expectations in terms of the results there. You really saw the hardworking men and women just like with hope in their eyes and money in their pocket really excited about what the President has been able to do with promises made and promises kept and exceeded quite frankly on.

Kimberly G:         And then that’s what I’m excited about, because this is what this country is based on. It’s a quality of opportunity. Maybe not necessarily results, but God bless, i you want to work hard and you want to do something with your life and try to provide for your family that opportunity lives here. And Donald Trump is trying to preserve that and really grow this economy so our children and grandchildren won’t be able to be the beneficiaries of that.

John C.:                Understood. And you’re going to be headquartered out of where?

Kimberly G:         Well both New York, DC and then throughout the country. I go as well where the president goes. So we were with him at the NRA rally last week and in Wisconsin for the rally and it was just incredible. I mean record numbers, people waiting for 24 hours ahead of time to try to get in. It was like unbelievable. Like you just don’t see this. And it’s exciting because I love to see people invigorated by the process and engaged in trying to participate and have their voice heard and show the support for the president. And he’s right. There’s no place quite like a Trump rally, you know? And he’s got record numbers as it relates to the GDP as well. When everyone else, The New York Times, Barack Obama said it couldn’t be done. He’s done it and I love it.

Kimberly G:         And this is what I expected. I know the president almost 15 years. He’s a fighter and he’s an innovator. He’s an entrepreneur. And why not let everybody else get built up and experience the American dream as we know. Really. It’s so true. So much more unites us then divides us. People want the same thing. They want to be healthy. You want to be able to take care of their family members. They want to be able to provide for their children. Now thanks to President Trump’s tax cuts and the job acts, you have more discretionary money to be able to spend in their pocket. And that’s right. I believe that the American people know better what to do with their money than bureaucrats wasting it in DC. I’m a firm believer in that. He said he was going to drain the swamp.

Kimberly G:         We found out with these horrific witch hunts that have gone on so far in this country and spying on American citizens and trying to remove and perform essentially a coup on a duly elected American president. You wouldn’t think these things could happen. You think it’s a Hollywood movie, but the President wants to make it fair and protect the process for everyone so it doesn’t happen to any other president going forward in history. And I stand by him and the prosecutor. I respect the rule of law and he respects the military and our veterans and that’s how it should be.

John C.:                And good luck in what you do. And I want to thank you. I understand you are going to be the co host of my daughter’s Lincoln Day dinner in New York City and-

Kimberly G:         It’s going to be amazing. And your daughter is a true patriot and American hero. God bless her. I’m proud to call her a great friend of mine, A.J. Catsimatidis. She is just absolutely fabulous and a great leader. Passionate on behalf of her beliefs and for the party, what she’s been able to do. We’re thrilled to do the Lincoln Day dinner and be there. It’s gonna be a really amazing night.

John C.:                Well I thank you again. I thank Donald, Jr. for agreeing to do it and anybody interested, I think you could email, [email protected] and tell them you are interested in coming to the dinner and Kimberly, good luck in what you do and it’s a great America and we want keep it. [crosstalk 00:07:31] We want to keep it great.

Kimberly G:         We’re going to keep it that way. Right? Those are my initials. K. A. G. Okay, so keep America great. I’m going to, I take it seriously. I take it to heart. I can’t wait to see you and the family. You guys are amazing for what you do. God bless you.

John C.:                God bless. This is the Catz Roundtable. [crosstalk 00:07:46]

Kimberly G:         See you there.

John C.:                We’ll be right back. Thank you.
