Speaker 1 Sunday morning. Check me out to the ball game with us. Today is Eric Shuffler, the president of the Ferry Hawks in Staten Island. And how are you guys doing? John?

Speaker 2 We are doing great. We have been playing all week out in Staten Island. You know, we have this beautiful stadium right next to the Staten Island Ferry looks out at Lower Manhattan, great skyline. We had an amazing fireworks show last night. We do fireworks every Saturday night at the ballpark. Three thousand people there on fourth of July.

The Fairy Hawks are playing well. Today we play at four o’clock and we start the second half of our season. We have a lot of good promotions going on today at four o’clock.

Speaker 1 So the sun is shining, the team is doing well. What else can you say? How did the Star Wars didn’t go last night? And I’m sure it went well.

Speaker 2 Star Wars was amazing. We had like hundreds of kids on the field practicing lightsaber training Star Wars reenact the people coming outdressed as their favorite character and in a couple hours later today, you know, we have our Sunday game which is kids run the bases after the game and we’re doing touch a Truck which we’ve got you know,

back hose and Bobcats, or be parked out in back of the stadium for people to come, you know, explore and play on. So very family friendly, perfect day for afternoon.

Speaker 1 So if the kids want to run the bases, that should it come an hour before the game or when? When is it?

Speaker 2 We line up all the kids right after the game is over. It is an amazing site. John. They line up right by first base and hundreds and hundreds of kids ranging from you know, three years old who can barely run to teenagers run in a continuous line around the bases with their parents chasing them. It is one of the best sites in minor league baseball

to see all these kids smiling and laughing. Give us your website Wwwfairyhawks dot com. F E R R y h A w ks dot com. Easily located right next to the Staten Island Ferry parking right now next to the stadium. Family fun hordable, great value, fifteen dollars tickets, Nathan’s hot Dogs, local Staten Island food vendors. Great time.

Speaker 1 Well, Eric, and I’m looking forward to seeing you, you know, how’s your partnership with the Yankees going.

Speaker 2 It is great. They’ve been a huge ally. They provide so much expertise to us. Homer Bush, the nineteen ninety eight World Series champion from that amazing ninety eight Yankee team, is our manager. You know. Come out, check us out, meet Homer, get a good view, have a beverage and a hot dog with your friends and family, enjoying afternoon

with Baseball America and the best view in any baseball park in the country.

Speaker 1 Eric, I will see you later. God bless you, and God bless America. And make sure I have some popcorn and Crackerjacks

Speaker 2 And Nathan’s Hot Doorgs and Nathan’s Hot Dogs.
