Speaker 1 Sunday Morning with us is Sunday Morning is Mark Shaw. And he has the best selling book The Reporter Who Knew Too Much? And I guess that’s about our friend Dorothy Kilgallan. And Mark has done many books on the JFK assassination. And just this week alone, President Trump said the reason he didn’t release the rest of the information

on the JFK assassination is Mike Pompeo, whose CIA directors Secretary of State asked him not to Mark Shaw give us an update. What do you think that that means?

Speaker 2 John? Isn’t it interesting how this whole thing with the assassination documents runs across all of the political world. What if we could go back, what five presidents or four presidents or whatever, including Biden? What’s in those documents that they need to hide? And I can’t imagine. You know, I interviewed you a mafioso guy in New Orleans or

in Las Vegas not too long ago, with regard to Dorothy Kilgallan’s death, and you know what he said to me. He said, everybody’s dead. They’re all dead. They can’t be a there can’t be anything come out after all those years.

But you know, if Trump feels that way, fine, but it sounded to me like that he was going to give a shot at releasing the documents, and the American people need to know what’s in there. My concern, of course, is that you know, Bobby Kennedy Junior, now who’s endorsed Trump, is going to be put in charge of all that,

and I think that’s the complete conflict of interest. I will vote for you being the person who evaluates those documents because you’re a man of integrity, and I know that would be an independent investigation and we haven’t had one of those, John since the day that JFK died.

Speaker 1 Well, thank you, Mark, I don’t need another job, I’ll tell you. Uh. Do you think there’s any similarities to President Trump’s attempted assassination?

Speaker 2 No, but I I just yeah, Well, something’s gone through my mind. I have to tell you. And that’s some of the similarities between Lee Harvey Oswald and this young man who attempted to kill President Trump. There’s so much confusion as to who they who they are, uh, and and what what their motive was and everything. Look look

back at Oswald. I interviewed a fellow the other day who was in the White House when JFK died, he said, we all knew that Dallas was going to be a death trap. All you got to do is look at Daley Plaza and and you know all that in the Secret Service didn’t do their job that day. Well then

you go to do Trump’s you know, attempted assassination, and the Secret Service obviously obviously did a terrible job, and they got in a situation where you know, he was out in the open and all of that, and then that guy is dead, you know, the young man. So we couldn’t we couldn’t. We didn’t get the evaluations, the

investigations of Oswald. Now we can’t get the evaluations and the observations of this young man. I think that’s going to be another mystery that through the years, all kinds of historians and other people like myself are going to try to figure out.

Speaker 1 Mark Shaw, do some more homework, see if there’s anything you could find out on the Trump assassination, and we’ll catch up again real soon.

Speaker 2 I’d be happy to John. Thanks again, Thank you
