Speaker 1 What is today? We have Michael Waltz and he’s a was it Green Beret combat veteran, and he’s a congressman now in the northeast Florida in the sixth district, and he’s on the Armed Services Committee, a Foreign Affairs Committee, and the Intelligence Committee and congressman. There’s so many things going on in Washington. You must be you must take

a couple of asprins every day.

Speaker 2 Yeah. I still have all my hair, but it’s definitely going white.

Speaker 1 Tell us where do you want to start. I mean, I hear so many things that America is under attack. I mean they want to do so many stupid things that I can’t believe. I heard they wanted to make all our military vehicles into electric vehicles. All you need is, well, what do you call it? Mr attack where they knock

off all the electricity and then you have no vehicles.

Speaker 2 So, despite the fact that China, on the March largest land war in Europe, ran racing towards a nuke, North Korea testing more missiles this year than in the last five, we have Biden, Secretary of the Army, testifying before my committee.

I’m chairman of the Military Readiness Committee in the House this week about her plan to make the army carbon neutrals by twenty thirty, to take our tanks and fighting vehicles all electric, and to make all of our military bases have solar plants, which of course all of which is made or controlled or resourced by China. You really

can’t make the credit come up and last I last night, and you know, we may laugh at off and say this is ridiculous, but they’re putting money in the defense budget towards it. Industry is responding. And what happens with these big military programs if they go on too long, they become too big, They become too big to fail.

And as you said last I checked there’s no charging stations and places like Ukraine, we don’t control the rare earth mineral supply that it takes to make the batteries. It’s just ridiculous.

Speaker 1 And if we’re at war with China, will will they give us team minerals to make the batteries.

Speaker 2 Hell no, they won’t, of course not, and that’s.

Speaker 1 Why they’d problem. Tank of our antibiotics are still coming from China. If we’re at war with China, will they stop sending us the antibiotics that’s right.

Speaker 2 We we we’ve got to pull those supply chains back. We’ve got to get them back home. And if we can’t get them the United States, hell, let’s at least get them into the western hemisphere where we can have access to them. Heck, let’s get an antibiotic plant in Central America. And now you’re killing two birds with one

stones in your and your migration problem. But you know, the electric tank issue is part and parcel to this administration’s focus for our military on their progressive agenda, not being the most lethal, deadly military in the force force in the world that all of our enemies will respect.

Speaker 1 Right now, there’s a lack of respect in the world for our White House. I mean it started with Saudi Arabia. They’ve aligned themselves with China and Russia. I understand Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, but even Argentina a couple of days ago is saying that they want to start paying the Chinese and one that’s right.

Speaker 2 Yeah, Look, this is yet another major step on Chairman she the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party to replace the United States, and they are going to try to win our here’s this economically way before there’s any type of shooting war. Their version of victory is the United States throwing its hands up and stepping aside, just as

Russia the Soviet Union did in the nineteen eighty thing. We can’t afford to compete, so that is undermining the dollar. That is controlling key supply chains, not only so that they produce them independently and don’t need us, but they create dependencies and making the rest of the world need them.

And again we have to get those supply chains out. I have a number of measures, one of which is to create a critical mineral stockpile, much like we have a strategic patrolum reserved. But we were putting safeguards in there to keep Biden from selling it off so that we have it in times of emergency, because she is

coming for Taiwan and then he’s coming for the rest of Asia and the United States.

Speaker 1 You fought for our country, did you ever? I think it really break down to this point.

Speaker 2 Well you know this. This is why my wife says I’m a massacres. She says, you know, John, She says, Look, wait a minute, you got shot at for twenty seven years around the world than you did a startup now you’ve got to do this.

Speaker 1 Uh.

Speaker 2 And I said, honey, I’ll be damned if I’m going to leave a country led by socialists or a world led by Chinese communists. Uh, to our to our kids or grandkids. But this is the fight before us. And right now you have a White House that is weak, that is not feared, that demonstrated its appeasement strategy both

with the with the Tabiban and the run up to Ukraine, and and what you’re seeing is deterrence peace through strength starting to crumble and fall apart all over the world. And that is a very very dangerous place. And at the same time, then you’ve got a military more focused on counting, you know, diversity and equity and inclusion and

climate and it is and being the most lethal, deadly military in the world. I don’t want the least carbon emitting tanks. I want the deadliest tank. And just the priorities are completely off. But that’s why I serve on all of those committees. We’re going to put it in the Defense bill. We’re going to ban THEI in the

United States military. We’re going to get him back to focus on being a meritocracy that it always has been. And by the way, just for everybody listening right now, that military is over represented in terms of terms of black and brown and other minorities. It has more than the general population. So this notion that it doesn’t represent

society is garbage fly. But we’ll keep fighting the fight. I know Senator Ernst and and so many others feel as I do. This is it’s got to stop before it’s too late.

Speaker 1 Understood, we have another minute or so. What else would you like to talk to about?

Speaker 2 Well, look, I think we need a wake up call in terms of what China is doing inside the United States. We have never had an adversary with the money and the influence to co opt so many aspects of our society.

In Hollywood Walters, are.

Speaker 1 They buying America? Are they buying it?

Speaker 2 But here’s the thing that pisses me off. They’re doing They’re buying America with our money. It’s our money from Blackrock, our pension funds, the trade deficit. We are literally sending it over there so that they can turn around and buy up ports and grids and influence with a policy that they call elite capture, where they co opt and

capture key influencers across an adversary society. And that’s exactly what they’re doing, from the police stations to farmland, to our food supply, to our antibiotic in pharmaceuticals and on down the line. And that’s why I keep saying, we’ve got to use the language of cold war. They are in a cold war with the United States. They seek

to defeat us. And we wouldn’t have allowed Soviet police stations or Soviet type cultural centers and all of our universities in the sixties and seventies and eighties, and we shouldn’t be allowing it now. Nothing against amazing and wonderful Chinese people and culture, but their dictatorship of a government means us nothing.

Speaker 1 But harm understood. What do you suggest the American people do. There’s a lot of common sense democrats. They’re not all, you know, socialists. Don’t you realize what’s going on? I mean, you see them on your first do you talk to them?

Speaker 2 So your first question of what the American people need to do when you see made in China put it down. I know it’s hard, it’s going to take a long time to bring those supply chains back home, but we have to start voting with our wallets, and we have to start pulling our dollars back that are being turned

around and used against this. Go to your financial advisor. I’ve had them comb I mind, combed through and divest of any companies Chinese based companies or companies with heavy exposure there by the way, It’s just a smart thing to do financially because if the balloon goes up, it’s going to happen and you’re going to lose those assets anyway.

So there’s a lot actually that we can do as Americans on the Democrat side. Look the ones that are on the National security committees, the ones that are seeing the intelligence and what the CCP are up to, they get it. But you know, I could talk to a Democrat on agriculture or say education and labor, and they

fall right into the same mold. This is racist and xenophobia and alarmists. And frankly, many of the institutions that the Democrats are that care the most about and influence them are the ones that are the most corrupted. You know, the universities, uh, the academia, Hollywood, wote corporations in Wall Street that want to preach social justice here, but then

turn a blind eye to an ongoing genocide in China. Uh and and that hypocrisy because why because it’s their next quarterly earnings. Look, I want everybody to make money, but not when it comes to the expense of our national security. Do business in India. They now have the largest population over China anyway in terms of a large market.

So there there’s actually a lot we can and should be doing. But we don’t have a president that that is leading on this issue, and we’re doing the best we can leading from the house.

Speaker 1 Well, congressman, thank you, keep up the fight. Keep Take a couple of Democratic congressmen, put your arm around them and tell them about the facts of life. And you know you’ve got to do both.

Speaker 2 Yes, yeah, this Look, this can’t be a partisan issue.

Speaker 1 Our enemy as America America.

Speaker 2 That’s right. This is an American issue. And we have the most dangerous enemy with the largest military, with the economy as large as ours, that is openly talking about replacing democracy, uh in free market capital capitalism with their form of techno surveillance dictatorship. I mean, he is telling us what we’re doing, what he’s going to do, and

we’ve got to fight back.

Speaker 1 Congress friends, thank you. So much fight for America. We’ll talk to you again real soon.
