Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday Morning with us is Senator Marshall Blackburn of the Great State of Tennessee, and she has many, many concerns about our country in the world. And Senator, the border is still a problem. Nobody is fixing it.
What do you say, and what we need to do is go back to building that wall. You’re exactly right, it is a problem. We had a woman murdered in Cleveland, Tennessee, and the alleged killer who has been apprehended is somebody in the country illegally, and they apprehended him when he was heading back to the border to exit the country.
So the border issues. Every town’s the border town, every state’s the border state. People are living this. They see kids that are being killed by sentinel poisoning. They’re seeing gangs that are coming into their communities and they’ve never had gangs, and now they’ve got MS thirteen, they’ve got Trendiagara, and they’re seeing the crime and the violence that these
gangs bring with him. In addition to that, the human trafficking and sex trafficking numbers are up, and it is terrible what is happening with children who are being sexually exploited. Every two minutes a child a child is bought or sold for sex in this country.
My god, I mean, why is our country search under their attack? Why is the commander in chief of President Biden allowing those things to happen? Is it him or is the people around him?
You know, so many people pople are asking that because it has become so appearance that President Biden is not making all of these decisions, and people are saying, who is it? Is it his cabinet, is his White House staff?
Who is calling all the shots? But you know, John, the fact that they wouldn’t make securing that border and looking after citizens a top priority is just it’s something that is that people can’t explain because it’s living in a manner that we have never lived. And the fact that illegal aliens are being given benefits, and that this
administration has that parole program where they go into countries and then they fly hundreds of people, thousands of people into the country and give them parole status, which is giving them a work permit and then offense and they have illegally come to the country, not going through the immigration process. This administration has worked very hard to make
illegal entry legal. They have done that CBP one app where they say, Okay, if you’re illegally coming to the border, just go in fill in this form on the app let us know you’re coming, and we’ll let you in and then we’ll let you claim asylum. And people are saying, who does this? So I think that that is one
of the reasons that people are so baffled by the Democrat Party positions and by Kamala Harris as the borders are, and it’s one of the reasons that President Trump continues to run so strong in this presidential election.
Senator, are we witnessing the tearing down of America between the borders, the all the the amount of money given by foreign entities to our universities that are making our universities beholden to them. By the way, I witnessed something that I never heard think that was going to happen.
H Professor Dershowitz was on my show five times, five days a week. He wants he’s not going to vote for the Democratic Party. Now. The other thing that I’m concerned about the Suez Canal, the Red Sea. The Commander in chief has the responsibility to keep it open. Why has he allowed it to keep it closed?
And the fact that you know, if you want to kind of work backward on that issue, John, go back and look at what happened with Obama giving a run money and the nuclear deal and the unfortunately Trump got us out of that. And then here you go. You’ve got You’ve got Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, and they
have supported Iran and lifted the sanctions. So Iran has made billions, hundreds of billions of dollars selling their oil, and we need a run to not have that money because they invest in these terrorist proxies. And when you talk about the Hoosies and what they are doing, they are in Yemen. You look at Hesbaloy, you look at Hamad,
and then you see who is carrying out these attacks for a run and of.
Course send it that it’s our money, because.
Of course it is Donald Trump.
President Trump used to keep Iran under control. There’s no control over Iran, and the commander in chief, President Biden, is not doing anything of it.
And that’s what is frustrating to so many people is that nothing is being done about this. Iron is continuing even today to sell their oil on the global market and make hundreds of billions of dollars and that money is being used against of US and our allies in the form of the way it’s given to these terrorist
organizations and they’re attacking us.
I agree. And I don’t know who is voting for Kamala Harris. I mean, the Poles say fifty to fifty. I can’t believe it, because America and the world are well. America and the world is not going to survive unless we have the strong president.
Well, you’re right about that. We have to have a strong president who is going to stand for freedom at every turn. And I you know, I’ve got to tell you, I think with the debate this week that so many people, so many people were perplexed that Kamala Harris could not answer the first question, are people better off today than
they were four years ago? And the reason she punted on that is because she knows that people are not better off. They have faced unprecedented inflation. The inflation rate since Joe Biden took off, this is it, twenty point three percent. The new numbers came out yesterday, and you’ve got Tennesseeans are spending an average of one thousand, twenty
three dollars more each month to buy the same basket of goods that they were buying in twenty twenty, that is ony twenty three more each month. So that means they have less that they’re able to save and put back, or either they’re having to do without.
Senator on a closing statement, is President Biden because what he did to the oil industry and raise the price of oil to double the price of gasoline, increase the price of food by forty percent because of what happened to oil, he made the poor people poorer, and he made the middle class poorer instead of taking care of them.
But I want to thank you for coming on this Sunday morning and keep fighting for America.
We will do so. Thank you so much. John, always a pleasure to join me. Thank you, thank you.
