Speaker 1 What is today is Celtor Ron Johnson from Middle America, Wisconsin, and he’s on Committee of Homeland Security and Committee of Foreign Relations and a budget committee. Senator, give us an update Washington. What’s going on?

Speaker 2 Well, John, Well, we just had to witness another charade political ploy in the part of Chuck Schumer as they’re trying to obtain political cover for their open border policy that is a catastrophe and a clear and present danger to America. And so he brought back up the bill that failed last time, you brought up in February. And

by the way, just to prove how disingenuous he is. After the bill failed the last time, Chuck Schumer gave an interview to Political and here’s a quote. He said, we were playing chess, they were playing checkers, and we got our Ukraine bill, and we’re in a much better shape on the border than we were three months ago.

So let me quick analyze that. First and foremost, if you were negotiating good faith, and John, you negotiate a lot, right if those negotiations fail, are you gonna rub your negotiating partners knows in the failure? The way Chuck Schumer was rubbing McConnell’s nose. I’m playing chess or he’s playing checkers. No, so they weren’t good faith negotiations. And secondly, if he

really want to cure the border, how could he make that last statement. The Democrats are in better shape on the border than they were three months ago because I didn’t pass. You know, there was no you know, Biden’s not gonna cure the border. So the only reason he’s in better shape is he got the political cover he

was looking for. And that’s what he was doing here, is he’s just trying to reinforce that political cover that unfortunately they’ll seek negotiations gave him.

Speaker 1 The other story that I was looking at the Senator, there was a story in the New York Post about President Obama ordering the FBI not to uh take care of the terrorists in our country because they were Iranian and they were in a busy negotiating an Iranian nuclear treaty.

Have you heard about that? Oh?

Speaker 2 Yeah. The whistleblower came to my office in Santa Grassier’s office. So he’s given us evidence. He’s given us emails showing that that’s exactly what John Kerry did, and members of the State Department presented the arrests of people are violating the sanctions, and by the way, they were required by law to continue to enforce those sanctions. So this just

is further proof of how the Obama administration, then the Bide administration had coddled Iran. You’ll just you know, they had this fantasy that you know, by finally one hundreds of billions of dollars into Iran, you can make Iran behave better, not not be the largest state sponsored terror.

And again because that delusion on their part, Iran has gotten literally hundreds of billions of dollars into their econ me which they really spent in their military. They obviously support the hutis Hesbla Hamas. You know, one of the reasons Hamas feels it has capability of the horrific brutal flaughter on October seventh is because Iran’s backing him with

money provided through this coddling of Iran by you know, via the the Oboma and by administration. So again, the Democrat foreign policy is the disaster. Everything they’re doing is waking in this country. And when America is weak, the world’s more dangerous place, our adversaries are in bolden and they act. And that’s obviously what we saw in October.

Speaker 1 Seventh understood what else? What else is happening in Washington that that’s really upsetting you.

Speaker 2 We’re thirty five billion dollars in debt? How about that one. I mean, the good news is we’re leading town and we’re gonna go back and celebrate Memorial Day, and that is, to me a solemn occasion. I hope people have a great day over the Memorial Day weekend, but I really hope they take the time to reflect and remember the sacrifice,

the service, the sacrifice of people who’ve paid the ultimate price to make a Memorial Day holiday possible. That give you the freedom and the athletes and the prosperity to be able to grill out burgers or in Wisconsin brats have a bottle of beer or two. That is all possible because courageous men and women, the finest among us,

have for generations stood up the plate, forged this nation, defended our freedom, kept us free. And so you rather talk about all the scary bad things, which is normally what I do, I guess I’d rather, at least through Memorial Day weekend, celebrate the courage to service, the sacrifice of again the finance among us who’ve given us what

we now enjoy.

Speaker 1 That is beautiful. I love that it’s Memorial Day weekend and we have to think about those that did give their lives and made the ultimate sacrifice here for us to have a beautiful Memorial Day weekend. Thank you so much, sator Ron Johnson, have a great day.
