Speaker 1 This IRS whistleblower. He was a senior IRS supervisory agent, Gary Shapley, a long time very well respected in the IRS. He has come forward saying that the investigation into Hunter Biden was hampered in so many ways and saw a lot of different suspicious things, and now his attorney is joining us here live on the show, Mark Lidel Mark,

thank you first of all for joining us your client, Gary Shapley, the IRIS whistleblower. He’s not in it alone. I saw also that someone who worked for him also is coming forward, and he’s also naming names that in some of these meetings there were at least six other people.

Credible people were in these meetings, right, so he has backup, it’s not just his claims.

Speaker 2 Well, first of all, thanks so much for having me on your show today. I’m really grateful for you to have you on and I’m happy to answer your questions. Gary Shapleigh’s a very heroic figure. He’s a fourteen year veteran of the i r S Criminal Investigation Section and he’s always done what he thought was right, and in

this case he saw things that are outside of the norm preferential treatment, and he said he just couldn’t live with himself if he said nothing. And so he’s come forward and it’s been my job to make sure he does it legally and under the law and in the right way. And he’s been doing that.

Speaker 1 You know, Mark a walk about walk us through some of the claims that he has made in terms of he said he was there during this conversation with the US Attorney David Weiss, who is the US Attorney in Delaware, basically saying that he wasn’t the deciding factor. Also he was aware that maybe there were tip offs to searches.

I mean a lot of these things are really stunning, and it’s important that the American public hears it.

Speaker 2 Yeah, I mean there’s really there’s really I would just group these whistleblower complaints from Gary and they’re supported i think by a second whistleblower two. But the biggest one, I think was what agent Shapley has described as his redline meeting, and that was a meeting that he described took place at the US Attorney’s office in Delaware on

October seventh, twenty twenty two, and it was the sort of the culmination of about a year’s worth of work, all of a sudden coming to a head at this big meeting that involved executives from the FBI, executives from the IRS, including Agent Chaplie, and of course US Attorney David Weiss. And what happened at that meeting was really

really have to describe. Leading up to the meeting, about six months earlier, in March of twenty twenty two, US Attorney Weiss had advised the agents and other prosecutors working on the case that they were going to try to pursue charges against Hunter Biden in the District of Columbia because, as Agent Chapley has testified, there’s no venue in Delaware

for these crimes because Hunter Biden was living in DC part of the time and in California the other part of the time. But anyway, in March of twenty twenty two, they pursued bringing charges felony and misdemeanor charges in the District of Columbia, and at that time the district of the US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Biden appointee,

turned it down and said we’re not going to bring it. And they later made efforts to bring it out in the US Attorney’s office in LA for another part of the case and that was later turned down. But Agent Chapley really wasn’t dismayed. He heard about these things being turned down, but he wasn’t dismayed because he had heard

Attorney General Garland statements that US Attorney Wise has all the authority and you know, has the authority to charge the case wherever, whenever he wants, and there shouldn’t be a problem because of the Biden appointees at the Department of Justice. So Gary moves on and he comes to this meeting on October seventh, twenty twenty two, and this

is where US Attorney Wise tells them that he was rebuffed by the DC US Attorney’s office. He was rebuffed by the LA US Attorney’s office, and they had said they were still trying to get to the US Attorney’s office in la at that time. And he also drops this bomb. He says that he tells the agents the

executive staff there that he sought special council status and he was denied special council status by the Department of Justice. And Agent Shapley shared that that was a shocker to him. He was he was he couldn’t believe it because he always thought he believed the Attorney gel Garland saying that Wis’s had the authority to do this, and so when

Weiss said he did not have the authority to charge those cases, it was a shocker for him and it led him to go through a lot of you know, challenges of his conscience and what he should do. And even he was so shocked by it he actually questioned him twice. You know, I had him repeat it. So,

you know, there’s a lot of questions about who to believe, their statements by the Attorney General, their statements by Weiss out there saying they always had, you know, unfettered authority. And then you’ve got Agent Shapley’s statement. But he wrote it up contemporaneously when he was at that meeting. He wrote it up, shout it in an email. Thank you

so much for letting us know what’s going on. People. The American people want the truth and they want to know what the heck is going on, and thank you for pursuing that truth. And when you have updates, please text us let us know.

Speaker 1 And Art bring your client on too. We’d love to talk to agent Chapley too.

Speaker 2 Please. Hey, thanks so much, Thanks so much for having me on great evening you too, Thank you
