Speaker 1 It’s Easter Sunday. The American people need a blessing. There’s a war going on. There’s so many problems in our country and with us. Today is Pastor Lorenzo Cio. And he’s a non denominational pastor. Uh. And he gave the truth the blessing Trump’s inauguration. And uh he was a gang leader at one time. Uh and uh but he’s a Detroit pastor. Uh and uh. Well,

why don’t you tell us about yourself, Pastor.

Speaker 2 Lorenzo John, I’m so holy, ghost, happy and humble that you allowed me to be here this Easter. I was born and raised on the East side of Detroit. I was mentored by murderers. I was a student of the street.

My dad is in prison for murder today. And President Donald Trump, out of all the places that he could have gone for his birthday weekend on the campaign trail, he decided to come to the hood. Now why is that?

Why would a president come to the hood? Because I believe that God wants to do good in the hood during this Easter. I believe that when you look at your situation like Christ was in the grave, can you imagine John being one of his disciples. Can you imagine feeling like it was Friday when he hung there and

he died and he bled. Can you imagine Saturday seeing him in the tomb, realizing that your savior was dead. And then Sunday, hallelujah, you went to that same tomb and you heard him say these words, why are you looking for the living among the dead? Can you imagine the King of kings, the Lord of Lord is the

one who is the offer and the omega, the beginning, in the end, the first and the last. Either he was a liar, either he was a lunatic. But we know he was Lord. How do we know that because he rolls himself from the dead. For the Bible says that no man would take my life. Jesus said that

he would lay down his life of his own accord, and that he would raise it up again. Now, why did he do that? He did that for you, He did that for me, He did that for Iran, he did that for Venezuela, he did that for Jerusalem. He did that for over seven point five billion people in

this world today, and anyone that would be willing to believe that living he loved us, Dying, he saved us buried, he carried our sinds far away. If we’re willing to believe that rising he justified us and he freed us forever.

One day he’s coming back. Oh, yes he is, and it will be a glorious day. If anybody is willing to believe that they can receive salvation. Yes, this is a salvatic moment, because if we want our country to be great, it takes individuals that are willing to believe in the death, the burial, and the resurrection of the

Lord Jesus Christ. So I am so humbled and happy that, out of all the places people could be listening, that you’re tuning in now with my friend John, so that you can be able to listen to the story the good news in the midst of so much bad news.

Speaker 1 Pastor Lorenzo, I hope I can get to meet you in person someday, because the American people need some faith. The American people. Less people are going to churches today than they did twenty years ago or forty years ago, and we all need faith because there is a higher power.

And I just you know, you know one thing I said to President Trump the last time I saw him, I said, thank you for what you’re doing with drugs and knocking those boats out of the ocean. And I don’t know why the Democrats are opposed to that. I really don’t thank you for And you know what I said,

I said to him, I hope we can make America drug free someday. I grew up in Harlem. I grew up in Harlem, and I saw what happened in Harlem after the Vietnam War. Harlem was the safest place in the world until some of those kids came back from the Vietnam War and they were hooked on drugs, et cetera,

et cetera. And I don’t have to tell you the rest of that story. Yeah, thank you, Pastor Lorenzo, and a happy Easter to you and all your people. And we’ll catch you up again real soon.

Speaker 2 Thanks John, I appreciate you.
