Speaker 1 Sunday morning. Well, it’s Easter Sunday, and what is today? From the great state of Louisiana. We have a Senator John Kennedy, and he is always full of emotion because he cares about our country. Senator Kennedy, what the heck is going on in our country?

Speaker 2 Well, John, first, let me say to everybody, just happy Easter. You know, this is a this is a day of rejoicing. It’s also a day of reflection. It’s the day of worshiping God, worshiping Christ, worshiping whatever God you believe in.

It’s a day of family. I’m going to start out on the positive side. I think America’s future can be better than its present or it’s past. I think the United States of America is the most star spangled country and all of human history. The whole world knows it.

Everybody wants to come here. I mean, when is the last time you heard of somebody trying to sneak into China. Everybody wants to come to America. But we have problems, absolutely have problem.

Speaker 1 Yes, I just spoke to Gordon Chang and he tells me that those all those agents that came in from China during the Biden administration. They’re hiding someplace in the United States.

Speaker 2 Yes they are. And it’s been a problem, and the Chinese government has taken advantage through the years of America’s hospitality and generosity. President Trump is the first president in my lifetime that has really stood up to China. He doesn’t hate the Chinese people, but he and he doesn’t hate the Hu Xing Ping, but he knows what Chi

xing Ping is up to. And Shu xing Ping, the President of the Emperor whatever you want to call him. The China they want to run the world. They want to dominate Europe into Pacific space, the Arctic h and the president’s firth president in my lifetime who’s standing up to them, And I’m grateful for that. But it’s a

fight that’s gonna have to continue after President Trump is no longer president. And and you know you just got to in Washington. D C.

Speaker 2 I don’t hate anybody, John. I look for grace wherever I can find it, and I mean that. But I know what I believe, and God gave me the right to remain silent, but not the ability. And I’m going to keep standing enough for what I believe. And I think we’re winning this fight doesn’t mean there’s not gonna

be some bumps on the.

Speaker 1 Road, Senator one hundred percent correct. And I can’t believe. You know, thirty years ago, I was a Bill Clinton Democrat, and I still love Bill Clinton. You know, he’s a good friend. But yeah, I can’t believe that the Democrats of today, they’ve lost their mind.

Speaker 2 Bill Cuinton couldn’t get five votes in the Democratic Party today. Look. Look, here’s the way I look at it. And I try to be objected, John, by both sides. Republicans aren’t perfect, but the other side’s christy. The loon wing of the Democratic Party. It’s not all Democrats, but the loon wing, the Karen Wing, whatever you want to call them, the

AOC wing, the Bernie Sanders wing. They’re in control. And and and these people they they feel contempt for America. They should feel gratitude. These people they think that kids ought to be able to change genders at recess. The people in control of the Democratic Party, they they hate George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln and doctor Zeus

and mister potato Head because they think they’re racist. I mean, I just don’t get it. Now. That’s not all Democrats, but a lot of the Democrats who know better are just being quiet. That’s the problem we got in the United States Senate.

Speaker 1 It’s it’s very, very sad. And when I was with the President last week, I said to the President, I commend him what he’s doing with the drug trade, but especially what happened with Venezuela and all those boats in Mexico.

And you know what I said to him, I said to him, I have a dream. I hope we can make America a drug free someday.

Speaker 2 Yep. Well, the President’s trying, yes, And and he finally, instead of just talking about it, took defendedive action. He was he was absolutely wrong about Venezuela. Venezuela was not a country, it was a crime syndicate. And Maduro was not a president. He was a mobster. And he’s now in jail. And we haven’t stopped all the drugs, but

we’ve stopped a lot of it. And that’s the only way we’re going to end this scorge is just everybody joined together and say enough. It’s gotten a little bit better coming out of Mexico. The President, he’s taken a strong stand against the new President of Mexico said, you have to do something about the cartels, or I will,

said the president. And the new President of Mexico is doing something about the cartaels. She’s fighting back. The prior president of Mexico wouldn’t do a damn thing. He’s sat there just sucking on his teeth and let the cartels do what they wanted.

Speaker 1 And you know, and I said to the President one time that China is supplying the cortels with a lot of that fatanoil, and whatever deal we make with China, we got to tell them. You know, enough is enough.

Speaker 2 And President She can turn it on and turn it off a finger stop it if he wants. I mean, all those all those companies selling those precursor chemicals to Mexico to make Centinel. The President can trying to can turn it on or turn it and turn it off.

I’ve seen him. I’ve seen him do it. And I know that’s going to be part of the President Trump’s negotiations with President She over trade.

Speaker 1 Well, Senator John, get it, John, Yes, we.

Speaker 2 Will get through it, you know. Happy Easter to everybody. Thank you so much for giving so much to our country. Thank you for all the jobs you’ve created for America. Thank you for being you man. You uh, You’re a rock star in my book, John.

Speaker 1 We work side by side to make sure the world is a better place for our kids and their grandkids.

Speaker 2 And you know what I’m going to say one more thing. You don’t have to do all this. Look, you’ve been successful. You did it on your own. You could go lie on a beach somewhere and not worry about all this.

But you keep giving back. And I really respect that man, you and what helped make America the greatest country in all of human history. And I thank you for your commitment.

Speaker 1 Thank you and enjoy the rest of Easter Day with your family.

Speaker 2 I’m going to do it. Thank you, my frank you Bye bye.
