Speaker 1 Sunday morning. What is today? Started to Rick Scott from the Great State of Florida Senators, So many things are happening. I mean the Supreme Court rules, how do you see them, and how do you see uh dealing with them? And is it are we moving in the right direction for the country to go in the right direction?

Speaker 2 Well, first off, or the country’s clearly hit in the wrong direction. But the Supreme Court made a great decision. Few great decisions this week, but one of the biggest ones was the presidential community, you know, with regard to official acts from criminal prosecution. I think that was a logical decision. I’m glad they made the decision. As we

all know, the Biden administration has persecuted Donald Trump is their number one opponent, taking the number three person for the Department of Justice sent to New York to investigate, to prosecute him. They you know, what Jack Smith has done, a political persecution. So I think that the Supreme Court made a good decision. It was a good bag for Trump.

As we all know the debate he did well, bidened it horribly. The people.

Speaker 2 What they’re thinking about now is they’ve got to make sure they get out the vote. To make sure we get to change in the direction of this country. And we got to win both the White House, the House, and the Senate. And then as Republicans, we’ve got to govern the right way to get solve the issues of

the country, secure the border, solve inflation, make sure the military that scares the crap out of our enemies helps our allies, make sure we’re out of forever wars. So I think that’s what the American public wants, and that’s what we got to do when we govern. And sorry, next year we won’t get a majority in the House.

Incident in a White House.

Speaker 1 Well, the other big ruling that Supreme Court did is that that the agencies themselves, like EPA, cannot make up their own rules. The rules have to be made up by Congress. That was a big move, wasn’t it.

Speaker 2 That’s a big deal. I mean, the share Run decision was a significant decision because we we’ve alread the Constitution. Congress makes the laws, not the executive branch. But what’s happened is the executive branch is taken over through regulations that were never authorized by Congress. And so the chaff Run decisions said, no, we’re going to go back to

Congress making laws, not the executive branch and these stedural agencies. It’s a big day for a country.

Speaker 1 I agree one hundred percent. Now, elections around the country. How’s your poults that? How’s it going? You have a reelection coming up in Florida and Floridians want law in order, and how are you doing well?

Speaker 2 I’ve got two Democrat opponents our primaries in August, so I hope everybody gets out and votes. Everybody goes to polls, and as a pole watcher, get all your friends to vote. We need to win in Florida. President Trump is doing well, which is good for me in Florida. So we just got to work hard to get the message out. How

Republicans have the answers. Republicans are going to secure the board. Republicans are going to get faced under control. Republicans are going to work on balance a budget. Republicans are going to preserve Medicare and SOCID security. Republicans are going to make sure that we have a strong military that can defeat our enemies. And our enemies never want to even

question us.

Speaker 1 Let me ask you another silly question. The Democrats hasn’t Democrats themselves seen the truth about what was going on with President Biden, or they just swallow it, or they just go along with it. You know, it’s hard for me to understand what they’re in the thinking.

Speaker 2 I don’t John, I don’t get it. I mean, you can look at this guy. You watch that debate, and you know, look at this guy. You know he’s not confident. He shouldn’t be on the ballad. He shouldn’t be our president right now. We’re in a dangerous time. And how any Democratic me w out and defend this guy, I

do not understand. I understand why his wife does it, I understand why his team does it. But anybody that’s separately elected, you know, how can they be doing it? So hopefully the American public saw enough of them thought to where we have big wins, so we can change the direction of this country and the Americans are ready

for it. I travel the state this week. I hit all sixty seven of my counties in this election cycle, and I’ll continue to travel all across the state to try to listen to Flordians, tell them what I’m trying to do, talk about what is able to accomplish as governor, and make sure they get out and vote Republican to

make sure we get the House to sit in a White House.

Speaker 1 Senator. Give us your website so people are interested in you, how do they help you?

Speaker 2 So if they want to help me, go to Rick Scott dot com. You can volunteer, you can donate. But here’s what I ask everybody to do. Elections are one over votes. Go vote, get all your friends and family to vote. Make sure your elections are fair by being a poll watcher all across Florida, all across the country.

We need to pull them watchers in every precinct to make sure everybody does everything the right way. In twenty eighteen, I’m the only Republican that won in a swing state and they won. And then on the next day market Lize of the election lawyer for the Democrats came out and said he’d went to the courts, he’d never lost.

If it wasn’t for all of our volunteers, all of their hard work and these recounts, we would have lost. So that’s what we’ve got to get out there, vote, get our friends to vote, and watch the pulse. If things are.

Speaker 1 Fair, absolutely, because we got to keep them fair. People do I have an expression to my company. People do what you inspect rather than what you expect.

Speaker 2 Right, we need to we need to look. We’re all better when somebody’s watching how we’re doing our job. They all get better at it. So do it every precinct, all across this country. I went everywhere in Sorda I asked for I’ve asked a poor watcher volunteers every day in all my campaign events. I’ve got three cities I’ve

hit in today and I’ll saying be’ saying the same thing in all three cities about get out and vote, get your friends that vote, and be a poor watcher.

Speaker 1 Santa Rick Scott, thank you so much for coming on this Sunday morning, and God bless you and God bless Americaak here John tomorrow him by bye
