Speaker 1 Well, it’s Sunday morning. Tuesday is the election? Well, what the heck is going on? Well, we’ve got Tony Corbinetti with us, the chiefest aff to Mayor Rudy Giuliani during his mayor ear years. And Tony, you got a good polse.

You’re one of the smartest guys I’ve met in politics. Tell us what do you think is going on?

Speaker 2 Well, John, thank you, good morning. First of all, I have to congratulate my wife. She’s running her second marathon this morning. Wow. I didn’t even attempt it. I didn’t even try to play the good husband. And after last year when she ran and say I’ll run it with you, I didn’t even lie. John, I couldn’t do it because I can’t

do it. So God bless her. She’s right now and I think mile fifteen. Let’s say, so all is going well?

Speaker 1 Uh? Tell us politics, politics in New York and the state the world.

Speaker 2 Well, I did vote early, and I voted no on Prop one, like our friend John Fasso says. But let’s talk to the country first.

Speaker 1 Tell us about the Prop one again. So people, it’s not you can’t tell enough times that they want to. They won’t. They’re trying to fool you into voting into Prop one to have illegal immigrants being able to vote.

Speaker 2 Some days, Lealers and also with Fasso, was saying it allows you know, boys to play in girls sports, and having two daughters, there’s no way in the world I’m voting for that. So you know, they always try to dress things up in one vein and get you to vote for something. So vote no on Prop one and

do that on New York State and New York State. So for the country, though, I was looking at the map, John, and you know, everyone agrees there’s seven swing states Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona. If you look at those seven states and you say, okay, you know what, Georgia is going to go back to Republicans.

So Trump wins Georgia North Carolina. All I keep hearing is Kamala made zero inroads in the African American community. It’s going Republican. The early voting is telling you it’s going Republican. So Trump wins North Carolina, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania has been the big swing state that everyone’s been concerned about.

All the numbers, early numbers tell us that there’s more Republicans voting than they thought they would have voting. And I actually spoke to an old friend, Anthony scaramuc who’s out there knocking on doors for Kamala.

Speaker 1 Oh my god, I thought you were smarter than that.

Speaker 2 No, he’s not, actually, And I said, is it?

Speaker 1 Is it he really likes Kamala or he really hates Trump?

Speaker 2 That’s the problem. He’s not doing this because he likes Commed. He’s doing it because he hates Trump. And I said to him, that’s not a winning strategy. Every door you’re knock on with someone agrees with you, they’re not saying they’re voting for Kamala, they’re voting against Trump. Not a winning strategy. If Trump wins those three states, Georgia, North Carolina,

and Pennsylvania, that gets him to exactly two hundred and seventy electoral votes. And that’s a victory. You don’t need Michigan, you don’t need Wisconsin, you don’t need Arizona or Nevada. Now what’s funny about that is four years ago, before the census and the realignment of electoral it would have been the total opposite. The Democrat would have won two

seventy to two sixty eight. But since, as I keep telling everyone, people are fleeing and moving down south, New York loses an electoral California loses an electoral vote, Illinois, Florida gains one, Texas gains two. That path for Trump is the easiest path he has and I think it’s very doable.

Speaker 1 And what do you think on the Senate and the congressional elections? What is your analysis on that?

Speaker 2 So on the Senate, I think Republicans are safe. I think we have a clear You don’t have a majority of incentive fifty one maybe fifty two. In the House, it’s going to be Look, you know, the House is going to depend on how the president does.

Speaker 1 Too many moving parts in the House.

Speaker 2 Too many moving parts. There’s a lot of districts that are really too close. And you know, congressional polling isn’t I mean, I’m not convinced about presidential polling, let alone congressional polling.

Speaker 1 Well, the problem with the House is there’s so many investigations going on, especially with the foreign money influence in the federal elections. All those investigations go away if the Republicans knows.

Speaker 2 We need to stop this we need to stop. Whoever wins needs to part in the other side and start with a clean slate. Okay, yeah, I.

Speaker 1 Mean there’s too many bad things happening.

Speaker 2 I always gave Trump credit for even though he ran on lock her up, tell the Justice Department to go after Hillary Clinton. He didn’t indict Hillary Clinton. It was the Democrats that chose to go after Trump. But I think we need to stop this.

Speaker 1 As a matter of fact, the Clintons went to Trump’s last wedding.

Speaker 2 Yeah, we need to stop this, John, We have to stop the pettiness on each side. You’re going to go after whoever loses, whoever’s in power. If someone does something egregious, yes you go after them, but we have to stop the pettiness.

Speaker 1 Well, we pray for a common sense to prevail, and we can’t go on the way we’re going on with our borders, the border problems and thirteen thousand murderers coming into our country.

Speaker 2 How can you allow that? That’s what’s costing her the election. What’s costing her the election is you know, on every issue, John, you know, abortion, the economy. Republicans and Democrats can sit down and debate each other this, each one could take their side and make an argument. No one’s going to sit here and make an argument as to why we

let people into this country that are undocumented or criminals or I mean, I don’t understand that that’s what’s costing of the election.

Speaker 1 Tony Carbernetti, we pray for America. Thank you for coming in and we’ll see you on Tuesday during the election.

Speaker 2 John, thanks for having me
