Speaker 1 Sunday morning, three days from the election, Ed Cox with us, the New York State chairman of the GOP. Concerned about concerned about a city or state or country, Ed Cox, where do you want to begin?

Speaker 2 Well, look, as chairman of the state Party, John, we need to get rid of the one party control of Albany. They got one parties got the governorship and supermajorities in both houses of the legislature, and it has been a disaster for New York. You’ve got raging crime here, soaring power bills for power and electricity, the spendings, reckless, ever

higher taxes, and now they are rushing to pack the courts to impose far left policies without any votes at all. We need to break their supermajorities in three days from now in these elections by electing Republicans to the state legislature.

Speaker 1 I mean, I’d like to have more common sense in our state legislature because they’re the ones that are insisting on keeping the Bailllord going. And we have thirty three hundred criminals in New York City that have been arrested twenty thirty times and they’re still on the streets. And the state legislature is the State Senate and the State

Assembly refuses to worry more about the eight and a half million people that want the quality of life, and they worried about the thirty three hundred criminals.

Speaker 2 That John you were right on about that by the reckless opening of the borders, and by are having a sanctuary city here in New York City and a right to shelter that is not even legislator, it was done by the courts on their own the right to shelter.

Were the only city with the right to shelter, and that is attracting the illegal immigrants here along with the gangs and the crime that they caused. And then the loosening of our criminal laws with the cash list bail and raise the age and the paperwork that the City Council has imposed on the NYPD. The combination of those

two has increased the crime here in New York City and it is a disaster. We have to start by electing to the legislature Republicans who are going to tighten up the criminal laws and who are going to make sure that illegal immigrants are not attracted just to New York State along with the crimples that are involved in

the among those illegal immigrants and ed cops.

Speaker 1 I agree with you one hundred and ten percent, but I’m going to add one additional thing. There’s a lot of common sense independence, and there’s a lot of common sense Democrats that I’m going to ask them to vote for the Republicans because we need common sense in the state state Senate.

Speaker 2 That’s exactly it in the Senate and in the Assembly. And both of them were one vote short in the Senate of breaking their supermajority. We are three votes short in the Assembly of breaking their SuperChargy one party government.

It’s an American where you need to have two parties representing their opposing views and working them out in good legislation for the people of New York State. Never since twenty eighteen, we’ve only had one party government in Albany and also in New York City.

Speaker 1 And we’ve gone downhill. State. We have gone downhill.

Speaker 2 We have gone downhill as a result. That’s right at cops.

Speaker 1 One more thing that bothers me, this proposition one they’re trying to sneak through in the middle of the night, just about on the back of your ballots, because I want to vote, and it was in the back of my ballot. Tell all the people what does Proposition one?

And I’m telling all my friends make sure you vote no on Proposition one in New York State.

Speaker 2 Tell us about Proposition one is inviting lawsuits that with the progressive Court of Appeals, the highest court in your state that we have now, is going to cause illegal immigrants to have the rights of citizenship because regardless it is vaguely worded in this constitutional amendment. And the right to vote too, yeah, they could have the right to vote,

and our highest court we give it to them. And because of the way that the careless wording of this amendment and the same thing giving boys the right to play in girls’ sports, it undermines girl sports and it is dangerous with respect to boys playing in girl sports, because that’s what this does. It does, and it is

combined with the radicalization of our highest court by the progressives in our states. And again it’s a product of one party rule of the legislature, and they have made our highest court, which used to be a very good judicial body, into a really progressive court.

Speaker 1 At this point, I call on all common sense Democrats, all common sense Republicans, all common sense independents to vote no on Proposition one. We don’t want girls guys we’re playing in girl sports. We don’t want uninvited aliens to be voting in the elections. I mean, it’s just crazy.

Speaker 2 It is just turning our state constitution into something that will permit the courts to establish rights that have no reason for illegal immigrants and for boys to play in girls’ sports, and before parents must have any rights respect to their miners who might be think that they are transgender, and the schools will not have to inform the parents

of that kind of that kind of thing. It goes on and on, and that is a danger of Proposition one. Need Thank you, voters need to vote no Proposition one.

Speaker 1 Ag Cox, thank you for your common sense, and let’s catch up again real soon.

Speaker 2 Look forward to it. John
