Speaker 1 Well Sunday morning with us is Ed Cox, Any’s chairman of the New York State GOP, and mister chairman, ed, what what’s going on? I heard some that you had some problems up in your building.

Speaker 2 You bet, our headquarters in Albany in the last two weeks, each week has been defaced with slowstickers, which is political violence that should not be a part of what happens in this country. But you have seen it growing ever since the blmy riots in Minneapolis and Seattle and the fact that the mayor’s there didn’t do much about those riots,

and and the attempt on on Candidate Trump’s life that barely missed by several millimeters, or the or going back to to our present majority leader, Uh, the E. Scalise and the fact that he was seriously wounded UH during a a by an outsider during a baseball game between the two parties in Washington. It Uh, you know, the

violence like this just is should not be a part of our political discourse here in the United States.

Speaker 1 I agreed, Uh, And UH was there any cameras, Was there any anything that you could find out who any any hints or who did it?

Speaker 2 Well? The credit the credit to the DA there. He wants to be helpful and there are people looking into it. But the moment, apparently the the cameras really haven’t caught any of the perpetrators understood.

Speaker 1 Uh, any fingerprints, there was.

Speaker 2 Nothing, no, no, no fingerprints. They used the spray paint and and stickers that they put on and they put on the building. Uh. You know this kind of thing, this kind of discourse. Uh, I mean, uh, you know people saying that, you know, there is an attempt on Justice Kavanaugh’s life, a justice of the Supreme Court. Uh,

they caught there. They caught the individual outside his home with the instruments that they could have they could have killed him. Uh.

Speaker 2 It is a repetitive thing that is not a part of our politics, uh, in in this country, and it.

Speaker 1 Should not be understood, is there. I think you should install cameras in the future to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Speaker 2 You know, that’s a good pragmatic suggestion. You know, we our building has just been there basically unprotected because that’s the way we expect our politics to be. But now we got to start taking precautions. You’re absolutely right, John Chairman Cox.

Speaker 1 It’s a new world and for many times on a five o’clock news when we work together, we call it it’s bizarro world because it doesn’t make any sense what is going on now.

Speaker 2 It is indeed a bizarre world, and we need to have more common sense, which you get across the airways on wab C.

Speaker 1 John ed Cox, thank you for coming on this Sunday morning and let us know if there’s any other way we could help, maybe post a reward. You never know, grandmother might turn the person in.

Speaker 2 That’s a very good idea, John, appreciate it very much.

Speaker 1 Thank you, Chairman ed Cox, New York State GOP, thank you. And seek the

Speaker 2 Truth, you bet, that’s what we’re about.
