Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday morning, they need a new governor in Florida. In November of nineteen, nineteen twenty twenty six. I see, I’m in a different century and with us today is Byron Donalds. He’s a congressman in Florida and President Trump has endorsed him already. Well, Byron, tell us, you’re a congressman now and you want to run for governor. What are you
going to do that’s going to be better for Floridians.
Well, first look, we have a great state, the best in the country. It’s about taking the work that a Governor de Santrans has done, the work Governor Scott did before him, and building upon it. So what I want to do is make Florida the financial capital of the world.
We want to bring not just NASA to Florida, but we also want to really have a manufacturing and aerospace hub, a tech hub in Florida. And then you know, we want to obviously have insurance issues, we have to repair roads, we need to build, but it’s about keeping Florida as the number one state in the country and making it
better than it’s ever been.
And you think manufacturers have not really come to Florida up to now you think that you can do some of yet done.
I think we can. In North Florida, we have several transportation routes. We have I ten, I seventy five, by ninety five. They go north south. We have the ports in Jacksonville, and we have a lot of land where you can actually build out some light manufacturing, even some intermediate manufacturing. And I think with the push by President
Trump to try to bring manufacturing back to the United States, Florida’s prime to be able to deliver on a lot of those opportunities understood.
What else would you like to tell you all the people in Florida.
The number one thing is is that before I got into Congress, I served at the state level. I was there for four years. When I was in the State House, I protected Second Amendment rights in Florida. When I was in the state House, I passed the first bill of its kind, which Rick Scott signed into law. Rick Scott
was governor, and it allowed parents and community members to examine the material that was in front of our kids to find out about the indoctrination. I thought, I passed that bill, signed that into law. So you know, my career is a very conservative one. I have one of the most conservative voting records in the country, and as
the next governor of Florida, we’re going to continue what the great state of free State of Florida and really an everything state. People now just not just retire here, they building their families here, growing their businesses here, starting their businesses here, and we’re just gonna make it better than it’s ever been.
Byron Donald, thank you so much and keep us informed as time goes by
