Christine Hanlon Chair, New Jersey Republican Party
Examining New Jersey's Voter Registration System
Transcript
Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday morning, let’s go to New Jersey. We have the head of the New Jersey GOP. She’s the chairwoman, Christine Hanlin, and she wants to report and what the heck is going on in New Jersey and you have illegal people voting?
And Christine, give us a report.
It is great to be with you today. And while we had an unbelievable week here with our governor admitting that over six thousand non citizens had been registered to vote in New Jersey and approximately four hundred had voted in elections. And wow, this is something that we’ve been talking about for a long time. My Election Integrity Task
Force has been doing an investigation. You know, we had Mark Wayne Mullen write a letter to New Jersey saying, hey, you know, you have maybe over thirty thousand non citizens on the voter rolls. It’s but all our suspicions were validated here, and you know, the governor admitted that non citizens were on the voter rolls. And when you think
about you know, some people might want to say four hundred people voting, that’s no big deal, but elections come down to just a couple of votes oftentimes, And how do you set me.
Ask you you you complained about how many people you think I was on the voter roads and how many do they admit to?
Well, we had because we just had a small sample indicating that there was this big problem. So we had found hundreds in the limited amount of documents that we had. And then Mark Wayne Mullen with Homeland Security did you know a scan and said, hey, you could have over thirty thousand. And then the governor came out and said, oh, well, hey,
you know, the administration knew about this and nobody said anything. And they’re indicating that over six thousand, but I know that it’s more than that.
Wow, indicate Okay, week Jack and I’ve seen it.
I talked more to come, More to come.
I talked to Claudia Tenney, the congresswoman from upstate New York, and she had won by like twenty eight thousand votes, and then all of a sudden, twenty eight thousand votes show up from the Democratic Party and she went to court for nine months and she finally won because she was tough. She finally won like by one hundred and
thirty seven votes or something like that.
Wow, that’s amazing. So you could see elections come down to a small number of votes, and this type of issue cannot be dismissed or pushed aside. Full investigations need to happen and policy changes need to happen. So the governor’s trying to say in New Jersey, oh, is this one glitch? This one time saying a software glitch that
during a short time period that allowed this to happen. I know that that’s not the whole story, and we are pushing to expose the rest of the story, uh, and really push for policy changes. It is policies, bad policies that lead to these election integrity issues. And this is the main focus for me, it’s a main focus
for the RNC and so many of our Republicans across our state and across the country. We need election integrity. Investigations need to happen, and changes need to be made understood.
Anything else you want to tell the American people on a Sunday morning, I mean, you know, just the Sunday shining you.
Tell us, hey, you know in New Jersey, we have a lot going on here. You know, we’re trying to hold the governor accountable. We just found out that she was using state police helicopter to go to a private party in another state, and we are calling for accountability.
We need change here and we’re working hard to make sure to shine the light on a lot of these issues.
Understood. Christine Hanlin, New Jersey, gopach here woman, thank you for coming on. And we want the truth and nothing but the truth, and that’s what we want for all Americans. Thank you so much. Thank you,
