Speaker 1 Well is today is Dick Morris, one of the smartest guys I know. He was a consultant for a strategist for Bill Clinton, a consultant strategist for Donald Trump. Dick Morris Sunday morning, the holidays, the new year is coming upon us. Where do you see things going?

Speaker 2 Well? Merry Christmas? Is ton’s happening in the year. Of course, the big thing is the Colorado. The Colorado decision trying to remove Trump from the ballot, and I think that that is wrong. I think it’s going to reverse and I think it’s going to backfire massively on the Democrats.

The public is not prepared to live in the world in which a court or dictator or decides when we can vote and how we can vote, and how we can choose our president. They’re going to insist that this willmain the right of the three people to do and to vote as they wish. And for four judges in

Colorado to say that no Colorado, by the extension, no American can both for one of the other candidates for president is the very essence of fascism, communism, and dictatorship. And I think the American people were rejected particularly I think.

Speaker 1 The American people. I think you’re right, the American people are getting sick and tired of his nonsense.

Speaker 2 Yep, they are. And the basis for it all, John is the January sixth demonstration, and the Speaker of the House has said that he will release the tapes from that, the videotapes, which have not been widely seen. They’ve only been edited versions released by the January sixth Committee. And those tapes show that this was not a revolution. There

were no guns, it was not armed, There was not an attempt to overthrow. There was not an attempt to kill anybody. The worst there was was an attempt to ask the States to re evaluate the election returns they sent to the Congress to be sure they were accurate before they were passed on into history. And twenty five

senators voted to that, and that was not a revolutionary action. And so court to reach back and say that it was an intempt to overthrow the government to prevent an elections from being held is just outrageous. Politically, I think it exposes that the Democrats will do anything they can, whenever they can, in any form they can to block

down Trump from becoming president, even as it means suspending an election in the United States. It’s ironic that at the very time Biden is saying that Trump would be a dictator, he himself, through his partisans in Colorado, is the one who’s attempting to set up a dictatorship by ruling the plunt running and the likely Republican candidate’s president

off the ballot in a key state. You can’t get more dictatorial than that use he’s using for it is that he allegedly inspired a mob who was going to take over the Capitol. Uh.

Speaker 2 The mob was unarmed, there was no it was largely peaceful demonstration until perhaps incited by the FBI agents, it became unpeaceful and the and the intent of it was not to cancel an election. It was to get an honest election. So I think that this is not only going to help Trump, but going to totally pull the

rug at from under where it’s become the principal argument of the Biden campaign that Trump wants to be a dictator.

Speaker 1 Understood, And I think you’re more right than wrong. Yeah, And you know what, I’m still upset about that poor woman losing her life by the security guards. You’re shooting her in the head or wherever you.

Speaker 2 Are poor blank, Yeah, I mean, I mean the point is that you can’t. You can’t, under one hand, run on the basis of democracy and on the other hand, spend the application of that democracy over a contrivance like that.

January sixth was somehow revolution to top of the government understood.

Speaker 1 What are you going to talk about noontime today? Your show goes on. You’re on between noon and two on WABC radio dot com worldwide one hundred and seventy three countries.

Speaker 2 Well, that’s quite a lead up. I hope I can do well. I’m going to talk obviously about the political situation, but in the way it just described. But I also want to talk a little bit about the impact of Christmas throughout the world, about the civilizing impact of Jujeo Christian thought and how it totally transformed and transforms human

nature and the cruelty in our society and makes it more humane. For example, the ASPCA was set up by a Christian group to to inspired by Christmas. The end of beatings and schools, the end of public punishments. I think all of those things are testaments to our civilization, and I think that mode that they do not exist

in the non Christian counties, and I think we have to celebrate the impact of the Judeo Christian ethic on our lives.

Speaker 1 I look forward to that. I look forward to listening to you at twelve o’clock and God bless you and happy holidays.

Speaker 2 Thank you, John
