Speaker 1 Sunday Morning with us today is Dick Morris. He was right a landslide election. Dick Morris, you have redeemed yourself for anything in the past. How did you know it was going to be your landslide?

Speaker 2 Well, I really not from the polls, but from the issues. Would as you see how different the values and the ideas of the Biden administration in Paris were from what the American people want. And when the let’s decided to double down on those issues and and not to move to the center, it became clear to me that they

could never be elected, and that fundamental logic motivated me throughout. I never felt that the American people back in limitless immigration or gender change for kids in the nonsense I was pushing, and I knew that they would embraced Trump over that. And the issue is not why I saw it.

The people did not.

Speaker 1 Understood. And going forward, it looks like America has been saved. You know, we’re going in the right direction. What happens to all the inner cities? The governor of Arizona says, no way, am I deporting anybody? Yeah, And the governor knewso has his own agenda. I mean, how do we bring together. And the interesting statistic that I talk to

people about is all the states that Kamala Harris won, there’s no voter I d necessary. Yeah, So how do we bring the rest of the country together?

Speaker 2 And the Republicans lost those blue states by much smaller margins than they did in twenty twenty. So we’re making a great deal of progress about the deportation issues and the sanctuary cities a home and the great guy who’s now the new immigrations are made clear this they disobeyed the law and they try to obstruct the deportation of people,

They’re going to go to jail. Not just the people, but the officials too, maybe some mayors and maybe some governments. The law is the law, and even though the Democrats claim it doesn’t apply, it’s people that want to come here illegally. It does apply certainly to people who make that possible and encourage it. But I think in a

broader context, we won and we want decisively and overwhelmingly, and I think that that is going to bring about a change in the policies of the Democrats who opposed us. I think that they’re increasingly going to have to move to the center or get new jobs and new careers. Already, you’re seeing the impact of Trump’s victory without having taken office.

The EU, for example, announced that it will no longer buy Russian oil, It’ll switch to American oil and gas. The sanctuary cities in New York have up food programs for illegal immigrants. There’s a there are changes happening all over the country. Eight states past laws prohibiting non citizen voting.

And you just see the world moving around. Because we are basically a democracy, and when the people speak so overwhelmingly as they did here, I think that the issues will rapidly line up in Trump’s case.

Speaker 1 Understood, Uh, what else do you want to You’re on at twelve o’clock today, What else you want to tell You’re going to tell all the w ABC listeners at twelve o’clock.

Speaker 2 Well, the big thing I want to say the son right now is when are we going to end this horrible hypocrisy of holding men like Matt Gates and other appointees to ridiculous, absolute sexual standards that probably most of the Senate didn’t themselves follow in their own lives when they were younger. He’s not a horrormonger or a child trafficker.

He had sex with two girls who were seventeen years old within a few months of the acquiring legal status. And how many sensors and the judges who sat and which wourds the nominations to be withdrawn in their childhoods brooke that law? And when would this hypocrisy end? And good people, good men, and good women can’t serve in

important positions and do important work because of some absolutely absolute moral standards that never got repealed but still sits there in the laws. It’s outrageous and it needs it needs to be changed. I’m reminded of Monica Lewinsky scandals where Bill Clinton literally could not serve as president in a practical way for the last two years of his

presidency and Osama ben Laden took advantage of that to plan the raids on nine to eleven. And we are repeatedly suffering by this hypocritical, holier than now attitude that dominates the governments.

Speaker 1 Understood, I’ll be listening to you at twelve noon today and look forward to listen and hearing the whole story. Thank you so much, Thank you, Jim
