Automated transcript · uncorrectedWith us this morning is Dick Morris and he’s got a great show at WABC on between twelve and two o’clock every Sunday. And Dick Morris, this was an interesting week. Give us your evaluation. Where the heck are we?
Well? Whinston Churchill had a wonderful line. He said, there is nothing more exhilarating for a person than he shot at without effect. Wow. And that is exactly the experience that Donald Trump has gone through this week, this month, in the last two months, he’s been shot at without effect. The Democrats had done everything they possibly can to break up his candidacy and
stop his momentum to They sent him convicting him of thirty four selonies, and he had no effect politically. The numbers didn’t change at all. And I think that what this tells us is that has already been held and Trump has already won. Congratulations.
If somebody in our history once said that one of the biggest changes of democracy is having too many people vote that they don’t even know what they’re voting for. Have we reached that point?
No? No, I think we have a very well informed actor. I think they know everything that’s going on. I think the point is that you know so much that they’ve lived through these two presidencies, Biden’s and drumps and Biden’s, and they can see the difference graphically and in real time, and they’ve come to conclusion that Trump, they were better
off under Trump. I think the poet shows that fifty six thirty fifty two to thirty six I voted to say we were better under Trump than than the Biden and they’re just not going to change their votes. They’ve made their decisions. You know, in chemistry, when the molecules move in the is moved, and it cannot comical reaction
in the chemistry they’re becoming. They don’t move. The medals just sit there and I can stay in Earth forever. And essentially that’s true in politics. Once the voters make their decision, particularly when it’s a well informed decision, having lived through two administrations and having gone through an extensive campaign and style, the voter’s basically closed down. They say
this is over. We know we’re going to vote for awaken me when it’s over. And I think that’s essentially what’s happening now. In the news. Media wants to hype it and say it’s a new say, it’s an election, and the contests and everything, but unless Biden withdraws, this election is over.
What are the chances it’s more than fifty to fifty, What are the chances are that he will be forced to withdraw because of health reasons or because of other reasons.
I think they’re pretty good. I think that that’s very possible. I don’t personally think it’s going to elect the Democrat, but I do think that there’s one more wrinkle in this election, and that will be when Biden is forced out.
And I’ll be talking about that at length on Sunday on the radio show between twelve and two. And that really is what we’re up to at this point, to handicaps us as the Biden Trump races, to handicap a race that’s already over happened. It’s like the race remember of the movie The Sting. The Red certain him and
con this guy and he invests money based on a tracker that tells them who predicts who’s going to win a race, and they’re only broadcasting a race that’s already happened. I think that’s kind of the situation now. And I think that this race has already happened, We need now to focus on who the Democrats are in facts get nominated,
and whether we in fact can defeat him.
Dick Morris, I’ll be listening at twelve to to noon today and look forward till then, and we’ll catch you up again real soon.
Thank you, go back,
