Michael Cohen Former Attorney to President Trump & 77 WABC Host
Americans Are Demanding Accountability, Transparency and the Truth
Transcript
Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday morning. Well with us today is Michael Cohen and he was the attorney for President Trump from two thousand and six to twenty eighteen, a personal attorney, and well they had a falling out, but he’s back, and Michael, welcome to WABC and welcome to Red Apple Group, and give us an update. How is your week this week?
Well, the week was crazy. The numbers for the last week’s show and literally since I started here, this will be my fourth week, my fourth show, which is hard to believe with now more than something like five or six million views in just a period of what a month.
The numbers here at WABC are growing every day, and so is the show. And I’m very thankful to WABC and to you, John for making this happen.
Well, let me tell you something. Our mission is to get the truth out and to make your America survives and the world survives. And I think there’s the same mission that you and your old bust President Trump or Donald Trump at that time, and President Trump now and myself and you know, me and the President only two
years apart, and we’re working seven days a week, both of us. And you’re you’re you’re working seven days a week too, just.
Like you, very much like Donald John, I have to be honest with you. You bring that OCD and me right out. There’s so much that’s going on here. There’s so much that’s going on to get the truth out.
You know.
Trump used to call them the silent majority. Here at w ABC, we call each and every one of you the tired majority. We’re tired of being lied to, we’re tired of being abused, and you know what, our voices are making a difference.
Fauci, that was a big shock, oh week.
Yeah, I’m angry. I’m very very angry.
You know how many people he hurt, yep By and he knew the truth and he was lying when I watched him one hundred and eleven times take the Fifth Amendment.
And I understand as a lawyer, I understand your legal right to take the fifth. However, that doesn’t mean that he should. In fact, one of the big problems that you have when somebody is taking the Fifth is it completely absolves them of having any responsibility within which to answer the question, despite the fact that the guy was
already pardoned. So I want to know, like so many of the tired majority, what was it that we put into our bodies. What is this vaccination? Did we really need to do it or did it If in fact the answer is yes, we did, well, then he deserves credit.
But if he didn’t, and if we didn’t need to put it in, well, then he deserves criticism as well. It’s what I constantly referred to as being centrist. You could be left center, you could be right of center.
It is irrelevant. What we need to do is to know the truth. And that’s all that any of us ever ask for. It’s nothing but the truth. Michael, Let’s talk about what’s going on in DC. So many things are going on. We talked about Fauci, Let’s talk about Todd Blanche. Let’s talk about it’s only the beginning. It is,
It’s only the beginning. And the funny thing too, is they have now delayed the vote confirmation vote for Todd Blanche. But interestingly enough, the way the system works, if in fact that they delay this vote ad infinitum, Todd Blanche can remain as the acting Attorney General all the way through the end of Trump’s term. So you know, if
that’s what Trump wants, well, that’s what Trump will get. My understanding, and I think it’s yours as well from insiders, John, is that maybe just maybe they are contemplating somebody else because of some of the Republicans who are unhappy with Todd Blanche.
Well, they’re not unhappy with Todd Blanche. Some of the Republicans have I guess Trump the arrangement syndrome because some of them the President has not been nice enough to that. They that they consider it and they’re they’re voting against Todd Blanch just to stick it up there. Whatever.
Yeah, I mean, that’s that’s the part.
The one thing is we tell the truth.
Yes. And the part John, that bothers me about this. Every president, and again I don’t care if you’re a Republican, Democrat or.
I feel the same way.
Every president should have a right to run their own agenda. Every president should have the right to pick and choose their stay.
I told you todays when President Trump, when I had the parties for Bill Clinton in my home and the traffic was tied up all the way to Trump Tower, he used to call me up and yell at me. Yeah.
I remember those days too. He had me get you on the phone. Those are the good old days.
Yeah, And well, things happen. Well, Todd Lance, what else Jake Clayton, The good news is he’s the new in charge of the d N. I yep.
Well, look again, the president should have the right to pick and choose who he wants in his administration. I mean, just imagine if, for example, Democrats had the right to put in to Trump’s administration who they wanted, or some of these Republicans who are now opposing the president to me again, all it does is it causes gridlock.
Agreed. Now the congestion pricing, that’s another problem. The other problem that’s coming up now in the last few days is that the governor and the Attorney General has ordered has ordered that that the local sheriffs do not cooperate with ICE.
I mean again, they are now going to defy the federal government. It’s becoming all out war between the states versus the federal government. And I’m not really sure that that’s good for democracy.
What are you gonna talk about your five o’clock show tonight?
So it’s interesting. I have, starting off, George Santos is coming to the studio in order to sit with me. And after George Santos, I have Hank Shankov the Democratic strategist to give the other side a different perspective on the mess that’s being made here by our Mayor Mamdani and by our Governor Kathy Hokeel.
Well, God bless you and God bless America. Amen.
