Automated transcript · uncorrectedWhat us this Sunday morning, is Congresswoman Nicole Mayotakis. So many things are happening in the world, the city to state. Where do we begin, I don’t know, let’s begin in the debate. What did you think, Nicole?
Well, look, I think it’s obvious that President Biden is not capable of running the country for another four years. And really it begs the question who is currently running this country? Who within his administration? Because there have been real destructive policies that have taken place here right our wide open border allowing murderers, rapists in, even terrorists that
are connected to Isis. We have anti energy policies that are crushing American energy and driving up costs and inflation on consumers, and it just begs the question who is appeasing our adversaries ran China. The policies that have been coming out of administration are not pro American and we need to get to the bottom of what’s happening here.
But I think also President Trump made a strong case as to how successful he was in creating jobs and bringing down unemployment to the lowest levels for women and minorities, for securing our border, and I’m glad he highlighted the women across America that have been killed because of illegal immigrants that the Biden administration has let in. These are people, remember,
that were caught at the border, but they were directed to be released into our interior. All those women from Lake and Riley to Joscelyn Hungary, the twelve year old. These women would be alive today if President Trump and his border policies were in office right now. So it is a shame what we’re seeing unfold. And really as
a human being, just as an American, it made me sad to see our president on the stage like that because it was a weak moment I think for the country and in certain for him, but really reflects on all of us, and we should really be concerned about the weakness that has been portrayed around the world.
You’re certainly correct, Congresswoman. He’s definitely not capable of doing it for four more years. The other problem is he is the president for the next six months, seven months. I mean, I hope he can’t. He doesn’t create any other additional problems for the American people, for the world.
Well, I think this is a wake up call for all Americans across the country to recognize that what Republicans have been saying this entire time, that he’s incompetent, that he’s in cognizance, was not to be cruel or bully or me mean or it’s not politics, it’s the reality of the situation. And we should be very concerned if
he’s not running this country, which was clear and evident, than who is I mean? And really, the policies that have been coming down from this administration are so destructive and I do fear that a President Trump does not win, which I feel very confident at this point that he will be the next president, the forty fifth and the
forty seventh president, and will be able to reverse some of the damage that has been done. But this has to be people have to think about the best interests of our country right now, not just partisan politics.
Now, you’re a New York congresswoman, tell us new York City, New York State, though, what’s going on? What do you think?
Well, look, we’re seeing the disastrous policies of the buy An administration play out on the streets of New York City every day. We had two police officers shot by an illegal immigrant, again released into the country by the President.
In his administration. We saw a thirteen year old girl raped in Queen’s again by an illegal immigrant who was released into the country. Another woman murdered in syracusan upstate New York by an illegal immigrant allowed to enter into this country. And as I stated before, it’s not like these guys snuck in. They were let in. They were
actually caught at the border by border patrol. But because of the directive put in place by this administration Secretary of Mayorcis, they are forced to release them into the interior. This is also concerning considering eight ISIS tied members that they said were planning an imminent attack on the United States were caught in cities like New York and LA
And it really begs the question number one, we need to secure the border. Why won’t President Biden reverse his sixty plus policies that he put in place that made our border wide open? Why won’t Schumer pass our legislation that would force the president to reverse those sixty orders?
And then the other question is why does New York City continue to tie the hands of the NYPD and prohibit them from cooperating with ICE to have these dangerous individuals removed. They will not comply with any detainer requests from Immigration and Customs enforcement. And that is so insane because the people that they’re issuing ice detainer requests, they’re
hardened criminals. And the City of New York has this law in place thanks to Build a Blasio, that just prohibits any cooperation, and that is putting New Yorkers, as we’re seeing playing out on the streets on a regular basis, in danger. And so I’m very concerned about that, and I’m very concerned about the mayor continuing to house these individuals.
It’s better not that we’re housing all these illegal immigrants, but now people that are committing crimes on top of it, like you know, the people the guy who shot the cops’s he basically admitted that they’re smuggling guns into the shelters, that there are gangs there, and they’re committing these crimes, and we, the taxpayers, are paying for them to be
living free in the middle of Manhattan, and we’re feeding them, we’re giving them healthcare, we’re giving them legal services, laundry services. It’s just outrageous, and I call them, the Democrats, to just end this chaos.
I agree. I have advised President Trump that you can’t deport ten million people. It’s hard, but at least let’s deport the criminals asap and lock up all borders.
Look that that that’s right. I mean, I think we need to focus. There’s so many of the criminals that are here, and they are creating havoc on the streets each and every day. We need to certainly start with that and and get rid of them as soon as possible.
I think the President, the President Biden’s administration has created quite a disaster for us, and it’s going to be very difficult, but I think we can reverse course. And people need to recognize that we can’t afford another four years of this administration. And we we And you saw it playing out in the streets of New York the
other day with Bowman, the far left Democrat, losing his primary. There’s a correction that’s taking place, not just in New York, right in the country and even in Europe. South America.
We’re almost out of time, but I think the the culture of anti America forget about it. I think we have to be a pro America and do what’s best for all Americans, not what’s best for South America, not what’s best for Africa now. We want to take care of those people, but we can’t import all of them.
Thank you, Thank you so much to Nicole Madri Takis and let’s catch up again real soon.
Great to be with you. Thank you, John, thank you,
