Inflation is creeping back, and the Fed seems helpless.

I don’t understand the Federal Reserve. Where is our economy going? And if interest rates don’t come down, is the real estate industry is going to go bankrupt?
Well, let’s start with the Federal Reserve, which still doesn’t know how to fight inflation, despite the example of history for four thousand years. You do it by having a stable value for the dollar, not by trying to depress the economy. But they still hold the belief that if they have a depressed economy that’ll cure inflation. All that
does is create trouble, which is what they’re doing now. So they should back off from this manipulation of interest rates. There’s no proof that that’s the way you control an economy. All it does is cause mischief, and to start, you’re already starting to see it in the mortgage markets where rates have been moving up again after coming down a
little bit. So the Fed should stop it. Another big thing hurting the economy, John, is the massive amount of a president amount of regulations this administration is pushing through especially on their so called green agenda. Small businesses are finding this very hard to cope with, and it’s the key reason why business investment is laggered, because people don’t
know what the rules of the game are.
I understand. I mean they’re trying to create mission impossible, trying to have all electric caused by twenty thirty. I mean, it just doesn’t work. It’s insane. It doesn’t work. I mean well.
Based on wishful thinking, and it’s all really about trying to destroy the automobile. They don’t like the automobile because it gives people freedom. So you’re right, there’s no way they could meet those goals. What we already see results coming in now. These companies are losing thirty fifty hundred thousand dollars for every ev they make. So what the
Guide administration is doing is bankrupting the auto industry eventually. And it’s shocking that the auto union, the u United Auto Workers, and their leadership is going along with a scheme that’s going to undermine their industry and undermine the jobs of tens of thousands of their workers, not to mention the harm it’s going to do to the economy.
The Auto Workers themselves on not supporting what President Biden is doing. I’ll need a leadership that’s right.
The leadership. You know, the previous leaders were got in trouble because they’re actually corrupt. Some of them I think went off to jail. But this leader is corrupt in a different way, telling out the best interests of their leader, of their members for whatever it is. The Biden administration is providing these leaders and so they’re supporting Biden, but
they’re doing it at the damaging the damage they’re doing to their members, it’s shameful. They should be tossed out.
I agree. What else do you see? I mean, I just talked to a few people that predicting the presidential election of twenty twenty four, and he’s got President Biden, he’s got President Trump and Robert Kennedy. Who does he take more votes from?
Right now? The polls show Trump, but I think he takes votes away from everyone, both of them. And I think as the election approaches, as people find out more about him, about his record, what he actually stands for, he’s going to lose a lot of support that I think we’ll go to Donald Trump.
I think you’re right. I think my personal feelings is seventy five percent, probably taking away from a fellow Democrat, Joe Biden, in twenty five percent from Trump.
That’s my I think that’s how it’s going to finally shake out. And if the election were held today, Trump would win. And that’s one reason why John, I think there’s still a possibility the Democrats ditch Biden when they realize this guy can’t get elected. He can’t even put two sentences together.
Absolutely anything else you want to tell people Sunday morning, what do you want to tell the American people? That everybody’s at the edge of their chairs, they’re drinking their coffee. What do you want to tell them?
That we’re in a troubled period right now, both here at home and overseas, but we can turn this ship around. We just got to get a different crew and a different captain as soon as possible. But don’t lose faith in the country. We’ve lost faith in the leadership, but we need not lose faith in the country.
I agree with you one hundred ten percent. Steve Forbes, looking forward to breaking break together and seeing you soon.
Look forward to it. John, Thank you, keep up the good fight. Thank you
