Social Media Lies and Leaving the Democratic Party
Alan Dershowitz
Alan Dershowitz tells John Catsimatidis why, after some 70 years as a Democrat, he has written the book “Why I Quit the Dems and So Should You” and left the party. He says young voters are taking social media at face value and electing extremists, that Democrats who stand up to the party’s socialists lose their primaries, and that local bookstores refuse to stock his book.

Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday morning. Well, with us today is Alan Dershowitz, and he has a new book. And the book has a lot of, I guess, after 70 or 80 years of being a Democrat, the name of the new book is Why I Quit the Dems. Well, Alan Dershowitz, on a Sunday morning, you know, have you had your coffee yet?
I can’t keep my coffee down. I’m so angry at the world. You know, people, young people are voting for Democrats.
They’re voting for El-Sayed.
They’re voting for Mondami. They’re voting against America. They’re voting against Judeo-Christian principles. They’re voting against everything you and I have stood for for so many years. So we have to fight back.
So I’m not drinking my coffee.
Well, we were both Bill Clinton Democrats. And, you know, Bill Clinton had some common sense. What the heck has happened to the Democratic Party? You know, I had the former vice president here a couple weeks ago, and he says, well, the Republicans are not doing everything right, but the Democrats have lost their minds.
They have, but they’re gaining voters because young people are listening to social media. And remember, people forget that it was young people at the University of Heidelberg that brought Hitler to power. that brought Castro to power, that brought Stalin to power, that brought Pol Pot to power. These young ignoramuses are listening to social media, they’re believing what
they hear, and they’re voting for these extremists, these anti-American.
People, and I can’t Accept that. So I’m going to.
Spend the rest of my life fighting to keep the Republicans in power and the Democrats out of power. The Republicans are much safer for Americans and much more common sense for Americans than the Democrats are today.
Well, the Democratic Party has been taken over by the socialists, and there hasn’t been anybody strong enough to stand up against them yet in the Democratic Party.
They lack any kind of courage. You get people like Chuck Schumer, who I’ve.
Known for years, who’s a decent guy, but he.
Doesn’t have the courage to stand up to these socialists. He knows if you oppose the socialists, you lose the primary. Everybody who opposes the socialists and opposes the radicals loses Democratic primaries. Even John Fetterman today can’t win a Democratic primary in Pennsylvania.
He’s going to have to run.
As an independent if he wants to remain in the Senate. That’s what’s happened to the Democratic Party. El-Said, these people who think America was at fault for 9-11, I can imagine any of these guys looking a widow and orphan in the eye and saying, your father, the brave fireman who went to save people and was killed, that was
his fault, 9-11. Let him say that to any American, Assange Piker, but he’s taken over the Democratic Party.
But I’ve said this to the powers that be at the White House. I’ve said that whether it’s American citizens from the West Coast or American citizens from the East Coast, and no names, billionaires, that it’s not necessarily their money.
It’s foreign money being funneled through them because they’re American citizens. And then they’re placing the money where they want to place it.
We know that Qatar is spending fortunes and fortunes of money in trying to influence American education, American thinking, American elections, and even American bookstores. You know my book, Why I Quit the Dems and So Should You, you can’t buy it in a local bookstore. Local bookstores are today controlled by woke Democrats, and they will not sell a book
by me, even though I was the number one bestseller for The New York Times and had six other bestsellers. They will not sell my book. So if you want to read my book, you’ve got to get it online.
You’ve got to get it through Amazon or, you know, one of the other online publications. But bookstores today have become places where only left-wing books are sold.
Now, let’s talk about Amazon. Amazon is selling your book, and you can put it under Dershowitz. It’ll come up, right?
Yeah, just Dershowitz, why I quit. And you can get it, and you can get it at a discount. And, you know, they’ll send it to you the next day. But if you try to go to a local bookstore, a local small bookstore, they’re going to say, we don’t sell Republican books.
We only sell Democrat books. Wow.
Why I quit the Dems? and so should you, by Alan Dershowitz, and you can buy it on Amazon, and any place else, any other websites have it.
Yeah, I think Barnes & Noble, any of the websites, any of the online book companies will sell it to you. It’s just the local bookstores won’t sell you my.
Books, and they probably won’t sell your books.
Today, local bookstores think of themselves as adjuncts of the woke Democratic Party. And that’s what they’re doing. And it’s terrible because they’re engaged in censorship. And if you want to fight back, you’ve got to buy my book on Amazon.
That’s the only way to do it.
Well, thank you so much. And I will definitely read your book. And when are you going to have your book available by audio?
Well, I hope it will be ready. I think there may be an audio copy coming out soon. So you can get it. Because that’s what I need.
Because I still have a bad left eye and I still need it. to listen to it instead of reading it. Good.
Now, I think you can get it online for audio. You can order it today from Amazon. They have an audio thing. You press the button, you can get it.
Alan Dershowitz, thank you so much, and we’ll catch up again real soon.
Thanks for having me. Appreciate it.
