Speaker 1 Sunday morning. Well, it’s been some week, but us this morning is Alan Dushowitz, a great constitutional lawyer, a Harvard Law professor emeritus, and one s mot I and one good friend. Well, Alan, it’s Sunday morning. What do you think.

Speaker 2 Well, I think on Thursday night was one of the best nights for America, for world peace, and for Israel. It reminds me a little bit of the Sixth Day War back in nineteen sixty seven, when Israel took on all the Arab countries that were determined to destroy it and within six days destroyed all their enemies. And I

think what Israel is in the process of doing is destroying the potential that Iran had to create World War three by developing nuclear weapons. So I think it’s a good development. We don’t know how it’s going to end up.

We don’t know where it’s going, we don’t know. It’s a work in progress, but Israel has done the right thing, and I hope it continues to do the right thing. And the big beneficiary of this or the Israeli people and the American people, because both are a lot safer them.

Speaker 1 I’ve been telling all my friends that I don’t think Russia is going to have a problem with it. I don’t think China is going to react. I think that I think the whole world believes that the Iranians cannot be trusted with a nuclear weapon, because if they had a nuclear weapon, the next thing, you know, Harmas will

have it, and Hezbala will have it, and the hoodies will have it. I mean, whole bunch of terrorists will have it. I mean, I don’t think there’s anybody who doesn’t believe that.

Speaker 2 They all believe it, but they won’t say it. They’ll be condemned. Israel is already being condemned by idiots in the Democratic Party, like the senator from Connecticut and the Senator from Massachusetts. You know, they all have Trump arrangement syndrome.

So if Trump is in favor of it, there against it. But Senator Chris Murphy is really un American, uh, And he’s he’s he’s he’s arguing for policies that hurt America, policies that hurt world peace. He’s a horrible, horrible senator, as his Senator Warren. And so when people like that are on one side, you know that if you’re opposed

to them, you’re on the right side.

Speaker 1 Absolutely, Why are they doing this? I mean, I don’t you know, me and you were Democrats, remember I was a built Democrat and and and I just don’t understand the mentality. I mean, it’s like they took some syrup and the begin went into the bizarro world.

Speaker 2 Yeah, I know, it’s hate, it’s hate. Uh. You know, we all remember the good old days when Joe Lieberman was the Senator from Connecticut. I always have Murphy Murphy, who’s basically an anti Semite, hates Israel, hates Zionism, hates decency, and I don’t know why the people of Connecticut keep electing him. And the same thing that’s true of my

former colleague Liz Warren, who when she ran for the Senate, came to talk to me and said, Alan, I don’t know anything about the Middle East. She even know where Israel was. She had no idea what the Jordan River was.

And I sat with her and I gave her a tutorial. And you know, obviously she was a D minus student. She didn’t listen, she didn’t understand, and she’s now become one of Israel’s a greatest enemies. She refused to come and listen to Natanyahu’s speeches. She would come and listen to the head of China or the head of Russia

or the head of Cuba with enthusiasm, but she wouldn’t listen to the prime minister, the elected prime minister of the United States closest allies. These are enemies of decency in the Democratic Party and whatever you’re a Democrat or public lookin. I was a Democrats in its nineteen sixty when I voted for John Kennedy. I can no longer

associate with a party that features these Israel haters, these America haters. So I’m disgusted with the Democratic Party. Not all of them, obviously, there are some very good people in the Democratic Party who have supported what Israel is doing.

But those who in a knee jerk way before even knowing what the facts were. If Israel did it, if Trump’s in favorite, it must be wrong. That’s the attitude that so many of the radical left Democrats have.

Speaker 1 I agree, and I just a weedy Reedy don’t understand it. Whose side are you on? Are you? Are you on the side of the criminals? Are you inside of the American citizens? I mean, I was talking to somebody yesterday morning and the fact was, they said that all these migrants were forced in to make sure the blue states

stayed blue because people were moving out. And shouldn’t Congress pass a resolution or law saying that for the census, because the Congress is based on census, that the census only counts American citizens.

Speaker 2 Of course, for purposes of voting and purposes. I mean, we we fought a civil war about that. You know, there were big issues about how do you count slaves. The Constitution, you know, made them less than one person.

And basically only citizens should count for purposes of deciding voting patterns and congressional seats and and electoral college seats. Uh. And you know, we have to we have to keep our border secure, and we have to make sure that citizens come first and uh and and Congress has the role to play in making America American citizens safe against everybody,

both illegal immigrants and and you know there are Americans too who are so opposed American citizens, who were so opposed to American values that the people who are participating in these demonstrations don’t have the interests of the American public at heart. These are not dissenters, These are obstructors.

And people who really want to see bad things happen to America. These are people who look for opportunities to bring down the government, no matter what the opportunity is. You know, at first it was occupied Wall Street, same people.

Then it was we hate America, we hate Israel. Now it’s we hate Ice, and it’s the same people. It’s the same radicals who want to bring down the government. They just find different causes to associate themselves with. And George Soros and people like him tend to stand behind all these radicals.

Speaker 1 I agree. On a closing note, I would say that the American people have to realize that we have enemies from within and we have to deal with it well iron Professor Dershwitz, thank you so much, and God bless America.

Speaker 2 Let’s pray for peace, keep telling the truth, and keep using common sense. That’s why everybody listens to you.

Speaker 1 Thank you so much.
