Speaker 1 We got Kevin McCarthy, the former Speaker of the House. But I hate to say former speaker, but to me, he’ll always be Speaker of the House. Well, mister Speaker, give us an update. What the heck is going on with the riots in LA I mean, why, I don’t understand why two thousand criminals that are in the streets

of Los Angeles are controlling a state of forty million people.

Speaker 2 You know, you’ve got to look at our governor. It first he created a sanctuary state. Then if you listen to the protestings, it’s really not about immigration. It’s about trying to take California back to Mexico. Look at the flags they’re waving, look at what they’re saying. I mean, and I don’t understand how Democrats are standing with that.

I mean, whatever happened to law and order in safe streets? And look what they’re doing. They’re literally throwing fireballs at cop cars, They’re throwing bricks at officers. I mean, it is embarrassing.

Speaker 1 Mister Speaker. Why are the federal judges going after the President of the United States so badly? I mean, it’s not really their job to do that. And who’s going to come to a conclusion on that is going to be the Supreme Court or it will be Congress.

Speaker 2 I think a lot of it is going to be the Supreme Court, because what we’re finding is you get these activist judges and they shop around for it. They try to make a name for themselves. But I mean, look at the president was elected. The president’s elected to govern the judicial system.

Speaker 3 We all have three co equal branches that at the end of the day, the Supreme Court can make that decision what’s constitutional not But the President’s going to continue to do his job and what he promised the American people he would do.

Speaker 1 Understood. One more, I think the budget. I mean, you got your ears very close to the ground. Do you still have your friends in Congress? What’s gonna happen. Are we gonna have a deal between to put the president to signed by fourth of July? Your opinion?

Speaker 2 I don’t know if we get exactly on the fourth of July, we have the opportunity to, but we’re going to get a deal done for sure. I mean, look what he’s trying, what they’re trying to do. They got me through the House and the Senate. It’s in the Senate now. The House has done their work. The Senate

will take their chance and then they’ll make some small changes. But the one thing I see is this will get done. The real driving force behind it on the timing will be the debt ceiling, because they’ve got to get that done.

At the same time, I think you’re gonna have a lot of members talk different ways. But I got to give the President a lot of credit. It’d still be debating in the House.

Speaker 3 It wasn’t for the President to bring him into conference and tell everybody enough’s enough.

Speaker 2 We got to move forward for the American people. And I think he’ll do the same in the Senate and get these people moving.

Speaker 1 I certainly hope so, because I pray for our country. What else sweeps you up at two o’clock in the morning. I mean, right now the President are saying that Israel micro after Iran.

Speaker 2 Well, the real question here is, you know, the President’s been trying to make Iran and talk to me about not develop the nuclear weapon, because it’s not just Iran getting a nuclear weapon. There’ll be forty countries with the nuclear weapon. The world will not be safe. And Iran knows what the rest of the world has said that

they cannot have a nuclear weapon. We’ve watched Iran for the first time, send ballistic missiles from Iran soil into Israel. We watched them fund their proxies to Huthis and others to attack the other democracies in the world and Israel, and we watched what happened in October seventh. That’s what Hamas was doing and the funding is where it was

coming from. So I mean, we cannot allow Iran to have a nuclear weap, and we’ve been at the table. They should do the right thing. And I think what you’re finding is people are committed to them not to have a nuclear weapon, and they should realize that and work at the table and solve the problem understood.

Speaker 1 What else would you like to tell you American people, I’ll tell you.

Speaker 2 Look, they’re going to be the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary we had on Saturday for the Army. I cannot thank those who have served our country enough. Thank you for the freedom that you defended and provided into all those in the future that go in. I am so thankful to be an American. I’m thankful for what we’re

able to accomplish together, and I look forward to being on your show again.

Speaker 1 Well, thank you so much, mister speaker. You’ve always been a great leader for our country and I feel bad that you’re not in actual office right now, but I think God there’s something more for you than meets the isisle that people know right now, and God bless you, and God bless America.

Speaker 2 Bless you. Take care
