Speaker 1 It’s Sunday morning. With this on every Sunday morning is Steve Kates, otherwise known as Doctor Sky, and he gives us a few things to think about. Steve Kates, what is up in the skies this week that will rise our minds to think about things.

Speaker 2 John, good morning to you and the listeners. Here we go. The big news of the week seems to be additional information about Boeing Starliner, and here we go to make news here on the cats Around table this morning we find out that the astronauts are not stuck in space.

But now I may have to change my attitude about this. Apparently they’re telling us, that is, the folks at Boeing that these two astronauts may not be able to return until February of twenty twenty five. That seems ridiculous, but that’s what they’re saying. Here’s why the Starliner itself does not have the capability of undocking by itself. Let’s say,

if they wanted to just release sit and have it burn up or land on Earth, they have to figure a software fixed to make that happen autonomously, meaning that by remote control. But here’s the problem. This particular star Liner is attached to a module on the space station called the Harmony module. And the best way I can

say it is there’s also another spacecraft that’s supposed to head up to the space station, and that one’s probably going to be delayed until probably late September. But they normally have four astronauts on there, but they got to do something with where that is stuck in that docking position, so the crew Dragon nine may only launch with two people,

and then they may not get these two astronauts from the star Liner back until February. I mean, it seems like a mess in space, don’t you think. I mean, it’s pretty stressed.

Speaker 1 That is a mess because I understand they wanted to send that what was it, Dragon aircraft to pick them.

Speaker 2 Up, correct, correct?

Speaker 1 Maybe I mean like the movie who should send a Chinese to rescue him?

Speaker 2 You never know, John, But seriously, that’s crazy because a lot of people may not know this. The modules that are attached to the space station. Remember the Russians have their own emergency escape craft that are docked there, one of the old soul Us and another one, and then there’s other supply ships that are docked there. So unless

they can move out in the simplest way I can say it get the star Liner out of the Harmony module docking location. You’d have to either send it back of course with no crew in it, and maybe let it soft land and try to get the bugs out of it. But you can’t do anything until you get

that docking port clear. So we’ll keep you posted on this. And it’s kind of an interesting story in space. But with all the technology, you would think that this is something easy to fix. So it all centers around John, the helium leaks, the thrusters and a few other things that I myself and I always honest with you in

the audience, may have no knowledge on.

Speaker 1 I mean, there’s no Akli for Boeing at this time.

Speaker 2 Absolutely not. And here we go, John, we talk about something in the most mysterious. As you asked about opening our minds. How about this? The Egyptians may have had help in being able to stack those giant stones to develop those pyramids and build them. What do we think of theory? Or it is in quick summation. The Egyptians

may have developed the system of hydraulic water lifts supplied by water canals to help lift these huge stones to the height of the pyramid as we know today. Well, if it’s true, this is amazing, of course. But they called it the step pyramid method. But John, you and I always speculate even beyond what we hear in theories.

It’s maybe possible, of course, to keep our minds open, maybe they had some other intelligence to help them. And I know you would love to comment on that, because we’re both on the same page. I’m sure.

Speaker 1 Well, I think Look, I think they did have help. I don’t know. There’s so many drawings on the pyramids, and you know I’ve watched you know, you watch all those history on the History Channel, and there’s so many drawings of people that may look or beings that look like they’re from another planet. We don’t know. I don’t

know what our government knows and hasn’t told us, but I think they did have more help doing that than meets the eye.

Speaker 2 Well, John, here’s another strange artifact of history. The Egyptians actually built a very small model of a pyramid. Let’s say you could put it inside a room and look at it. But it was made of this amazing material, pure black stone, and it was magnetic. And many people believe the entire little bin Bin they call it the

bin Bin Pyramid, is actually one hundred percent meteorite in origin. But the other strange part is it has inscriptions that would be difficult to do with lasers. That’s to me one of the most strangeable stories. How the heck did they even do this? Where did this object come from?

And we find out that the great Pharaohs a Hunkemen. He also had a dagger, which we find out from you know, research in his sarcophagus or thereabouts. The dagger John was made of pure meteorite. So apparently the Egyptians knew a lot about these artifacts from space. This story is just interesting and I’m sure we’ll be talking about

this what for a long time to come.

Speaker 1 Well, I always like our minds to be expanded. And know, I was a star Trek fanned and sometimes you know, I was told that star Trek was funded partially by the government and in case something like that happened with with aliens, that people would understand it better. And you know the government used to do that.

Speaker 2 Yes, we don’t know that story, but we’ll keep investigating. But here we close off on this John. This is interesting as a competitor to SpaceX is Starlink, which is crowding low Earth orbit with these small satellites. The Chinese are in the business right now. They just launched this previous week sixteen of a new cluster of satellites in

a constellation called thousand Sales. That’s the name of theirs. They’re hoped to putting up five hundred more of these in twenty twenty five in lower Earth orbit as a communications system in competition with SpaceX’s Starlink. So john lower Earth orbit up to about three and four hundred miles in space. It’s a crowded highway and there’s no tolls

on that highway, right.

Speaker 1 It’s going to be a mess up there and all the satellites going around and all the garbage going around. And yes, I’m going to ask you something, just gut feeling. Are to Chinese ahead of us in the space race?

Speaker 2 Yes, I do think that.

Speaker 1 And then here’s.

Speaker 2 Quickly another Yeah, here’s another part of the answer. I think really quick. Obviously, that’s as budget if you look at it is very miniscule compared to all the other expenditures in the federal government. But space X and privatization companies of space have done a great job. But the Chinese government has one focal point, and that is their

government military. They’re the ones, I believe very simply are really in the not necessarily ahead of us, but the rapid rapidity of which they produced these products and the seriousness and technology. For instance, we talk about a Chinese space plane, it’s called shen Long. We know that it’s doing something like our X thirty seven for surveillance. We

don’t know exactly what, but they did this just like when they built their Tiangon space station. They did it in a much shorter time John, to build something almost as large. So the answer is simply, yes, I believe that’s true.

Speaker 1 Yea. I stay to have a secret space and we don’t know much about it, and I hope we find out about it sooner than later.

Speaker 2 Absolutely, John, more information always as the percy it meete your shower winds it down and people can see that in a great supermoon coming in another week or so, the first of four Supermoons twenty twenty four. Go to WABC radio dot com. Proud to be here with the Doctor Sky experience and a hearty welcome and good morning

to the listeners of the Cats roundtable around the nation and around the world.

Speaker 1 Thank you so much. I’m want to catch up again real soon.

Speaker 2 Thank you John
