Speaker 1 Sunday Morning with us Steve Kates, otherwise known as Doctor Sky and one of our best segments because we all look up in the sky and we’re just trying to relax and find out what the heck is going on? Oh, Steve Kates, what the heck is going on?

Speaker 2 Well, good morning, John, good to be with you and the listeners on the Cats Around Table. We’ll talk about something really far out in space. Astronomers are now saying that they may have detected something called dark stars. Not that almost sounds ridiculous. Obviously stars have light, So what the heck could a dark star be? Well, most stars,

as we know are you know, fueled by fusion where we turn hydrogen into helium. But now ashanomers is saying that they’re finding a class of objects which they’re now dubbing, as I mentioned, dark stars, that may have the component of dark matter. Now that’s even more strange because in the universe, John, of the twenty six percent of the

universe is made up of this mysterious thing called dark matter, probably something to do with gravity. And that is incredible because we only see this is amazing, as beautiful as the world is with our eyes and our senses only see four percent of what they call the visible or baryonic matter. But John, the mystery unfolds strange things happening

well beyond our perception as humans at this time. But the beat goes on. How about that?

Speaker 1 Well, I like to find out what dark matter is, you.

Speaker 2 Know, absolutely, what’s your speculation?

Speaker 1 What do you think it is?

Speaker 2 Well, John, I think it’s a component of gravity. We don’t understand gravity is what we think it is. You know, it’s really the bending of space time. And the simple answer on this which is still very complicated, the astronomers really don’t know when the universe was created. There’s something that we cannot perceive, in other words, call it Like Einstein,

he referred to this concept as something called spooky action at a distance. And that’s even more boom Busins are one of the greatest minds in the world still couldn’t figure it out. I think simply it’s a component of gravity that we simply don’t understand yet, and hopefully in our lifetimes maybe we’ll get the answer.

Speaker 1 Don’t you think I would hope? So? Uh, what else? What else is going on up? Then? Well?

Speaker 2 I wanted to talk a little bit about the Starship seven launch, a lot of people were going, what the heck happened to that? We know that the big booster rocket got off the pad down in Bokachika at star Base with SpaceX and then about eight and a half minutes into the light, John, what happened is the actual starship,

the vehicle on top called Ship thirty three, somehow it exploded and we had, you know, aircraft warnings of debris coming down all through the Caribbean and south into the areas of Florida and an area that we call in the Caribbean the Church and the Cacus. So we really don’t know what happened to that you know spacecraft, but

if that’s the spacecraft that’s going to get us to the Moon in Mars, part of that experience with the launch of Starship seven, the big booster landed back at the start. That’s incredible, but they got a lot of work to do to figure out how to get that spacecraft.

Speaker 1 Now, which one is the one that blew up through in last week?

Speaker 2 That was the one we’re talking about. The Starship seven, a big booster, but the rocket on the top, it’s one hundred and seventy one feet tall, it’s the stainless steel, beauty and genius of the King.

Speaker 1 Why did it blow up?

Speaker 2 Well, some theories nobody really knows, John, But some theories that we’re hearing or reading about is that there’s something wrong in the propulsion system where the actual vents in the chambers that push out the propellants. Remember they’re using liquid methane and liquid oxygen. Somehow one of those might have gotten simply clogged. That’s a big problem to have

because when you build up too much pressure and it has nowhere to go, kaboom, there goes your spacecraft. So they still have to do a lot more tests on that.

Speaker 1 Now, Preasudent Trump was talking about AI development, uh and spending five hundred billion on a stargate or a stargate project. To me, I remember to Stargate the movie, and I remember to Stargate television show. Nothing to do with it, I’m sure, but it does bring back memories.

Speaker 2 Absolutely, John On. These are great technologies that we certainly could harness in the future. The great mysteries of how do we do And we’ve talked about this before in your show that the anti gravity concept, as you reported back to us here, interestingly, enough, maybe something that we already have mastered, and who knows, Once we ever get

to figure out how to move through space and time, that would be incredible. But the President said this in as inaugural addresses. We obviously hurt. We will pursue our manifest destiny into the stars. And their hope is is he’s declared they will actually go to Mars, and I guess Elon jumped out of his seat because he has,

you know, the plan to do this. But they just have to make sure they perfect those spacecraft before they send humans there. That’s the problem, I gather.

Speaker 1 I I agree, I think there’s a lot to perfect it. What else would you I like to talk about this Sunday.

Speaker 2 Morning, Well, John, we always have a mystery of the week, and here’s something very interesting. It’s a little deep, and we’ll try to make it simple because it’s fascinating thought experiments like Einstein did with relativity and such. Are these concepts that scientists think of. Now here’s one. Here’s one that they’re talking about. What is the solarian hypothesis? Now,

what the heck could that be? Here is what the problem is to question, could an advanced industrial civilization exist on Earth millions of years ago, long before humans and its traces were lost to time. Because if we think about humans here on the Earth, some date it back to three hundred thousand years, but some say that the

horminids these are skeletal remains of you know, pre humans that go back to six million years. So why is the solarian hypothesis even interesting? It could be that this particular planet and many others, as you and I would agree, were inhabited by more advanced civilizations. And the word solarian actually comes from an episode of Doctor Who We’re in

that particular episode that were like reptilian or you know, lizard like creatures that had an advanced civilization. So that’s where that comes from. So isn’t that fascinating that all the relics of our history.

Speaker 1 The story there was a major story that underneath the Pacific there’s another shelf and a civilization might once been there below that shelf. Or there’s a lot of theories about there is some in inner city, in inner planet civilization.

Speaker 2 You know, John, you’re spot on. But the point of this Hillarian hypothesis is that maybe it goes deeper than that, that even the remains of those civilizations have been extinct because of time. Everything you know has we’re withered away in the history as far as we know and recorded or even unrecorded history. So that it goes to the

fact that we talk about Mars that maybe indeed there are relics maybe on the Moon because of its ability to preserve because of not the same oxygen atmosphere or the weathering away of erosion, and maybe this type of civilization exists well beyond our realm of knowledge that it existed so many million years ago, which gives the possibility

that life in the universe may be theoretically more reality than fiction. We’ll have to find out though, right, yes.

Speaker 1 We do. Well, thank you, Steve Kates, and let’s keep our minds on things in anything new on the drones, I mean the President Trump says he’s ordered to find out they could.

Speaker 2 Well, John, I heard the press conference like you probably did, and we’re eagerly awaiting to find out what the president can tell us because he’s telling us that he apparently knows, and hopefully he’ll release that information. And in closing, we always say, what keep your eyes to the skies, what you can see in the skies? Now, John, if you

look in the southwest after sunset and the clear sky, Venus and Saturn are to juncting, so many wonderful planets lining up and always to get more information, simply go to the Doctor Skuy Experience. We’re proudly here on WABC radio dot com, and of course we’re listeners of course everywhere around the world. We encourage you to want open

your minds. We hope we’re doing that with clear skies. Thank you, thank you.
