Speaker 1 Well, it’s a new week, it’s Sunday after the elections, and what the heck happened in the world? What happened in New York? With us today is Governor Pataki of New York and Governor, you’ve been working very hard to help make a difference in America for the last years, and there is a difference. It looks like we saved America.

Give us your comments, and where do you think you are? We are nationally, internationally, statewide, whatever, what do you like?

Speaker 2 I’ll tell you first, John, you know you said it’s a new week. I think it’s a new world. We’re going to have a dramatic change in our federal government. We saw the most left wing, left of center government imposing regulations, rules and orders and having an open border that really have hurt the country for the last four years.

And that’s all and a change we’re going to have with President Trump. We’re going to have a soaring economy. You saw the stock marker went through the roof the day after the election because they see what I think is correct, that we’re going to have far fewer job killing regulations, more investment in America, and we’re going to

have safe borders and closed borders. So so I’m just very optimistic about the next few years. It’s not just President Trump. The Republicans are going to control the US Senate and that is a huge deal. As we speak, it’s still up in the air, but there’s a brigod chance the Republicans will control the House too, and in

which case the agenda that’s going to restore American can get through Congress.

Speaker 1 I agree one percent. It looks like as of this weekend they don’t have all the numbers for Congress, but the Las Vegas odds are that nine that Mike Johnson will have a control and be the Speaker of the House, which is good news New York State. I know, we’ve had so many problems New York State. They’ve just passed

a law in California and it was passed this last week by seventy percent of the California people on bringing new laws for all the stealing that has been going on for retailers, and how do they fix it. They’re going to fix it in California. You think we could fix it in New York State?

Speaker 2 You know, John, You’re absolutely right. California. Of all the states, California just overwhelmingly passed a referendum to increase penalties for people who are stealing stuff from stores and shoplifting and just destroying the quality of life, particularly in our cities, and New York should do that.

Speaker 3 But John, I have.

Speaker 2 No confidence in our state legislature, and already I have no confidence in the prosecutor, attorney general or not attorney general. District Attorney Bragg just refuses, refuses to prosecute these cases.

Speaker 3 And I think the.

Speaker 2 Only way to do it is to change the people in power and put in people who understand that crime is crime, and when you tolerate it, you hurt the lives of everybody else.

Speaker 1 By the way, the Los Angeles Attorney, the Los Angeles DA that was far left Ring lost to his election, so maybe just hopefully up.

Speaker 2 Yet he got thrown out. He got thrown out, and he should have been thrown out, and Bragg should be thrown out in New York City, and it would change things dramatically if you were. The problem is they have recall in California. They also have initiative and referendum, so that in those cases the public is allowed to say, hey, this.

Speaker 3 Is wrong, We’re going to change it. We don’t have either of those in New York.

Speaker 2 We had to put up with Brag through his entire term before there will be an election where we can throw them out. And we don’t have the public, the people having the right to put on a referendum to say that this shop, this shoplifting is stealing from retail stores that are driving up prices and destroying the quality

of life has to stop. The only way you can do it is by changing the political leaders you know, like Governor Hockele could remove Brag. He’s not upholding his oath of office. You take an oath of office to uphold all the laws, not just the ones you agree with, and he doesn’t do that. But unfortunately, we don’t have

the right leadership. We need new leadership, and that’s how we’re going to.

Speaker 3 Change things in New York.

Speaker 2 But John, we just saw it happen in Washington in a sweeping victory that particularly all the mainstream media and the elites didn’t see coming.

Speaker 3 We can do the same thing in New York.

Speaker 1 I agree one percent. Anything else you want to tell, well America how you’re feeling, I mean, I feel real good that America is on the right track.

Speaker 2 Now, how do you feel, John, I couldn’t agree more. We are going to be on the right track. We’re going to have the right people in positions of power. One thing we didn’t mention is the judges. You know, instead of having these left wing judges who ignore the law, we’re going to have.

Speaker 3 Judges who actually uphold the law.

Speaker 2 And I’m just and then all those ridiculous, bogus criminal cases against Trump hopefully will go away and go away quickly and he can get around to running the country. So I’m very optimistic about how things are going to go.

And I just have to say to you, John, and to Margo and to the WABC team.

Speaker 3 You guys have been out.

Speaker 2 Front every hour of the day for months making the case that we needed to change things in Washington. We’ve gotten that change. Thank you and congratulations.

Speaker 1 Thank you so much. And you have worked very hard along with all the people that you know and and with WABC, and we all worked hard to help save America. And thank you for everything you’ve done.

Speaker 3 Thank you, John. God bless America.

Speaker 1 God Bless America.
