Well, who better to get it from than Spiro Your jackeys and I have difficulty with Greek names.
And he’s the owner of Good Greek Moving and he moves people back and forth. Well, it’s usually down, not up.
Well, Spiro from Good Greek Moving. How is it going? Are more people moving from New York to Florida? Nobody’s moving from Florida.
To New York?
Right, Well, sometimes you have situations, but very rare, very rare, you know, John, In the last three years, okay, there’s been somewhere between almost four hundred and fifty thousand people that have left New York. It’s unbelievable. And not just New York but other states similar to that atmosphere.
What’s the second what’s the second most? If New York is number one, who’s number two, Who’s number three?
I would say California is definitely number two. And depending on the months they beat New York. I don’t know if they’re in competition, but yeah, and then after that it’s you know, it’s other other you know, the Midwest, Chicago area, Chicago Land. But the yeah, and we’re you know, Interstate is about thirty forty percent of our business. But
it’s creeping up because of that demand.
So so what what?
Uh? So you have Illinois, you have California, and you have New York. Any other states that we should be looking at.
Well, look, there’s a lot of there’s a lot of other areas, I’m sure, but those are the most mass populated where you’re seeing the mass exodus out of. Now Florida area is you know, the New York Tri count the Tri state area of New York, right, yes, you know some of that too.
Now Florida is that number one because half the banks in New York have opened up subsidiaries in. Texas. They call them subsidiaries, but they got more employees in Texas than they have in New York. JP, Morgan Bank America.
I mean, they’re all they’re opening up.
New offices, that’s right. You know. You know, Miami, of course, and Palm Beach attracted a lot of the financial institutions. But you are correct, Texas is also a big one, and Texas might it might get a little bit more about the same as Florida. As a matter of fact, because of that demand, John, we’re opening up in Texas,
We’re going to open up in Amarillo because of all the data centers that are being built out there. You know, there are other reasons why people are moving too, right, the opportunity, the expansion of businesses that want to do so in a business friendly state.
Understood.
Now, So you’re you’re headquartered in Florida and you’re opening up up in Amarillo, Texas. And how do people get in touch with you to find out, you know, to take the pulse of the situation.
You have a website, well, we do.
You can simply go to good Greek dot com. Good Greek dot com. And yes, we are based in Florida and we have offices throughout Florida, but we also have a location in Las Vegas. And like I said, we’re about to open up in Texas. So we’re going to continue to expand our national capabilities. Of course, we go
all over the world, John, but we do a lot of cross country domestically. But we can help people for any circumstances. You know, it hurt. It’s bitter sweet that we’re moving people out of New York and mass because I’m a property owner in New York. I’m a New Yorker native, and it’s a sad thing to see so
but at the same time we’re helping people get to somewhere where they can prosper.
Understood, anything else you want to tell all Americans.
Well, hanging in America. We’re gonna win. We always win, and uh feel free to move about the country. Go to good Greek dot com.
Spiro, thank you so much for coming on and we’ll talk again real soon.
You’re the best, John
