Speaker 1 Well, a lot of things happened in Washington during COVID, and it’s all starting to come out. And whether this Sunday morning is doctor Marv Siegel, And well he’s got his ears close to the ground and he knows what’s going on. Well, doctor Siegel, what do you say?

Speaker 2 Well, here’s what I think, and my view has changed, which is something that maybe people should have been thinking about during COVID. When COVID happened, it came on us like an avalanche in early twenty twenty. And I must say I got a pretty good view of bird’s eye view in because Fox was sending me all over the place.

Speaker 3 I went to Nebraska.

Speaker 2 I interviewed the people there when the survivors from the Diamond Princess.

Speaker 3 I found out how treacherous a virus it is.

Speaker 2 I went to Dallas Airport and I found out people, despite the courageous attempt of the President to put on a travel band, people were leaking in any way by taking a tile and all and lying from where they.

Speaker 3 Were coming from.

Speaker 2 So we could see it coming here in the World Health Organization was saying it was a regional problem only, and China was basically exporting it. To Italy and then on into the United States. But where did doctor Tony Fauci stand on all of this? And I’ll tell you my view of this, John I interviewed him many many

times during the pandemic, and he said, I still believe it’s from the wet market, but I have an open mind.

Speaker 3 This is what he says all the time.

Speaker 2 But the problem is that the evidence never really pointed towards the wet market. The wet market isn’t even what you think it is. It’s kind of like a McDonald’s or a Wendy’s. It’s not some mysterious jungle habitat in the middle of nowhere. It’s actually in the middle of the city. Whereas the will Hann Institute of Virology is

multiple labs, none of which or almost none of which have any proper supervision, and they were working on back coronaviruses, including collaborations with people in the United States, and money was coming in from the NIH and money through Peter Dashik and ex Go have Health Alliance. So and doctor Fauci knew about all this, and furthermore, he had built

an international consortium of scientists to keep this very thing from happening after SARS in two thousand and three. And if there’s one thing I can say about doctor Fauci is that he tends to be rigid and protect himself from the idea that he might be wrong. He’s probably not the first person to say, whoops, that international consortium

of scientists may have backfired in terms of gain of function research because it included China, because China is party to the Chinese Communist Party, who tells them what to do. They’re not members of some international scientific community. They’re under the thumb of the Chinese Communist Party. So I think he began to suspect that, and he didn’t let on.

And because he didn’t let on, it furthered the idea that those of us who were questioning the Lamb from the beginning, that we were some kind of conspiracy theorist. It took John Stewart of all people to say, hmmm, wuhan lab wuhan virus?

Speaker 3 I wonder.

Speaker 1 Well, you know, I did the first first interview with doctor Fauci, and I will send it to you later. And it was on January twenty twenty, before the word COVID existed, and it was quite interesting and The one thing I will never forget doctor Siegel, is that they stopped sending airplanes out of Wuhan for three weeks, four weeks.

In those three four weeks, they was still sending him to Italy and the United States.

Speaker 3 And that’s right, and that’s right, and you know.

Speaker 2 And I did an article for the Wall Street Journal in the end of twenty one with Robert Redfield, who the former CDC director, who had top secret clearance and was talking to all the intelligence agency. And the same time that you’re talking about, sick people were leaving that lab and going to area hospitals.

Speaker 3 I wonder if what they were sick with, you know. And I remember my wife coming.

Speaker 2 Down with a weird virus in December of twenty twenty. In twenty nineteen, rather in when we came back from Mexico, I wanted, I said, what the heck is this? She has these chest symptoms. I think it was COVID back then.

I think it’s spread. In the summer of twenty nineteen, I think the genie was well out of the bottle. Why should we be trusting China for any information?

Speaker 1 Yeah, absolutely right, And keep your eyes open. The Greeks and Italians have an old expression matyia deton, make sure you have fourteen eyes, because it takes that to find out what the heck is going on.

Speaker 2 Well, we only need you and me, and we don’t need fourteen eyes. But if John Cassimatidis is looking behind your back, you can feel pretty safe. But I think that there was a pattern here of, you know, not fold disclosure to the American public. I think what this is about was that doctor Fauci felt that he had

to protect the public from things that might get them too worried, you know, But that’s not his role. He’s a vaccinologist and immunologist and now and in fact top infectious disease.

Speaker 3 Specialist, really top, and his role wasn’t.

Speaker 2 To be protecting or obfuscating with the American public. And that goes to schools and lockdowns and masks. I mean, we had a lot of evidence emerging John in twenty twenty that school should have stayed open because it was politics, right, they.

Speaker 3 Were trying to protect the teachers. They weren’t trying to protect the kids.

Speaker 2 But school should have stayed open because simply opening a window and keeping kids in a classroom decreased the risk of spread absolutely well.

Speaker 1 Thank you so much for coming on this Sunday morning, and we’ll catch up with you again.

Speaker 3 Wilson, great to see you, John, Thanks for having me
