Speaker 1 Well, let’s go to Montana. What is today is Congressman Ryan Zinke and he’s from the first Congressional district in Montana. And you used to be the Interior Secretary of the whole country. Uh tell me, Uh, how is it going up there in Montana?

Speaker 2 You don’t what’s a a big difference between being the Secretary of Interior, which is right, you know, running the fifth the territory of the United States, and representing the great people in district got in Montana. And this the more my roots are, you know. And also you know Article one an Article two legislatively, if we want to

codify what the president is doing, then you got to codify it by law. And uh. And also you know what you you know, I’ve had a lot of titles in my life. I’ve been a seal, I’ve been a congressman, I’ve been a state senator, I’ve been a secretary. All of them are are contributing. And you know, as the leader,

did you.

Speaker 1 Like the best? Which one did you like the best?

Speaker 2 Commander? You know, I got tell you just to be around. You know, I was a commander at Field Team six, so I was the operational units at the time and just to be around talent of a young Americans brought from the full breath, from New York, from New Mexico.

It was kind of like the Rough Riders, and they just want to be the very very best. And you see as they are, and you know, Delta Force very very similar in construct only want to be the best.

And you see what these guys are capable of, whether it’s Ben Laden or plucking Menduro out of the middle of a fortress surrounded by Cuban regulars, a flawless execution. But this is the talent we have. And I kind of go back my favorite job. I could do it again, I would say commander, because I just enjoyed being around

that much talent of just a America.

Speaker 1 I understand that now you were remember of Seal Team six and you’ve you’ve been all over the world. Uh, and we got a mess in our hands in Iran right now. Uh. I think we’re I think we’re I think we win, but they’re making it hard for us. Give us as an army, as a Seal Team six, commander, give us

the pulse of what you see through your eyes in Iran. Uh, in Saudi Arabia, with the hoodies in Lebanon, with the Hezbollah in uh with in Hamaswa and Palestine. What the heck? What the are we gonna sort this out?

Speaker 2 One one. I’m an optimus and I also sit on foreign Affairs, and I’ve been with every ambassador in the region, and there is absolute agreeance in the region, with an exception of of course Iran and their surrogates. They look no nuclear weapons, no nuclear material, no arsenal destruction, and the straits have to be open. That is a position

that this administration I have and others, and by the way, that all the region agrees. But you know, ragging in many ways had it easier because trust but verified. There is no trust. They’re on either side. This is the regenis lie for forty seven years. And who you’re negotiating with.

You know, it’s a distributed chain of command. You have a very weak commanding. You have a government that’s a mouth baste but no power, and you have the military that seems to have the most power at the moment, and they’re divided in a chain of command regionally. But I think the four points and this is not a

war of choice for us, John, This is a war of choice for them, because if Aron has a nuclear weapon, I can assure you, my good friend, it’ll be in the shores in the harbor of New York City, uh, sitting in some container. Or it’ll be in New Orleans, or it’ll be in Houston. But when they say death

to America, these are the same people at nine to eleven. It’s the same philosophy. So no, spoken by eight, you gotta take it, you got to, you gotta take it seriously.

Speaker 1 Spoken by a patriotic American, spoken by a Navy seal, spoken by the former Secretary of the Interior. And even though you’re up in Montana right now, you still have the big picture in your head.

Speaker 2 Well, you know, I love this country, and let Yeah, you may love New York, you know as much, but you can’t love New York anymore than I do. Because I love New York. You know, I see New York as as the pulse of America. Am I concerned about New York? Yeah? Absolutely, I’m concerned about New York because

I want New York to prosper. But you know what affects New York. I can tell you effects Montana to it affects the country. So when you got Wall Street, you know on the financial you know, heartbeat of America struggling.

I can tell you the rest of us feel it too. So I’m all in a on a better New York City. I’m really concerned about the communists in the front door. I mean, we spent two hundred and fifty years. We just spent two and fifty years of celebrating this country and our veterans fighting for what freedom, for family? You know,

we weren’t fighting for communism.

Speaker 1 And you know what I tell you, you know what I tell you. You know what I tell my Democratic friends, and I have a lot of Democratic friends, and I say to them is that we need more common sense, and we’re fighting for our kids and for green kits, and uh, you know, we gotta we gotta keep America going.

Speaker 2 And then well, and I’ll be I’ll be one of the first to say, Look, you know, we got crazy in the right, and we got comedies on the left. But at least the crazy is in the right. When the national anthem plays, they stand, So they’re patriotic. Now, there’s other views might be crazy with Kim trails and stuff,

but they’re patriotic. This group on the left, which is numerous and almost half of the Democratic Party. Uh these guys are are full fledged communism. They can’t call out Fidel Castro, they can’t call out Hamas on October seventh.

They can’t call out an Iranian regime that has been inflicting damage and hatred to the hoodies Hamas Hezbollah for forty plus years. Uh. So this is this is what we say. You know, I’m an optimist, John, America’s a lot of things. We’re not communists, but we also you know, we got to pull together and understand the threat.

Speaker 1 Well, thanks Congressman or mister secretary, thank you so much for coming on, Zinky, Thank you for so much coming on this Sunday morning. And God bless you my friend.

Speaker 2 You know what, John, I remain an optimist, you know, and I’ll leave it at this. I haven’t seen anything that’s not fixable because everything we’ve talked about is a man made issue. Now, God gave us an incredible amount of resources. He’s blessed America. So every problem we have, it’s man made problem. Therefore a man can fix it.

But we got to get the hatred out of the out of the argument and start focusing on getting things done. And how you get things done as you follow the constitution, and the Constitution is a magnificent document. And nowhere does the say communism. So so come on, guys, you know, you know.

Speaker 1 What I say to people. Nobody is breaking in to get into Cuba, nobody’s breaking in to get into Russia. Nobody’s breaking in to get into any communist country.

Speaker 2 But breaking you know. And yeah, and the government should yeah. And you know, the heart of the government does have responsibility for the vulnerable, and that’s the young and the old. Right as reading the report that that forty three percent of males between sixteen and in sixty two are not in the in the workforce. So you know what’s going on.

Speaker 3 Uh, you know, with with with with America, we need to go to work, you know, And and work has purpose, It provides dignity, it provides you know, the French and dignity of life. I agree.

Speaker 2 So look, and not every job is going to be you know, a starter job is going to be a three bedroom to bath to car garage. But you know what jobs are good. But when you have forty three percent of males sitting on the sidelines, not working, I think that’s a big concerns. Females are working much harder

than you guys out there, so ladies, thank you.

Speaker 1 I’ll talk to you again real soon. Thank you so much
