Speaker 1 What is today is Steve Tates, otherwise known as dof the Sky. We talked to him every Sunday and he brightens up all morning. We look up in the skies and say, what the heck is up there, Steve? What do you got today?

Speaker 2 Well, good morning, John, and to all the listeners of the cats around table. Here we go more information on the Indian Chandrean three. As we know, it’s successfully landed on the Moon on August the twenty third. It’s been in kind of a hibernation mode. Right now is it’s saving its power. It’s deployed its little prodground little rover

onto the surface of the Moon and get a load of this. The little rover is actually found samples of titanium, sulfur and other elements including oxygen, buried into the lunar soil. But what’s interesting is the main spacecraft, of course, the main BCROM the Lander. It fired its engines, John, and moved some twelve inches so it could be closer to

its little tiny rover, just demonstrating the power of its own engines. But here’s something interesting. This spacecraft VCROM the main Lander, it actually discouraged John what seems to be moonquakes on there. It actually picked up a strange signal with its sophisticated equipment. So, as we’ve talked about before, the Moon continues to resonate. Isn’t that fascinating?

Speaker 1 That is and I know we’ve talked about it in the past that parts of the Moon may be hollow or maybe not like the movie was. But that’s interesting, very interesting.

Speaker 2 Well, here’s more on that. Apparently they also detected the movement of the rover. That’s how sensitive this particular spacecraft the main land of Vichrome has in its array of instruments. But what’s also theoretical here is what’s the cause of moonquakes?

And many scientists over the years have thought about this, and here’s one simple answer. It’s because of the changing tides that stressed between the Earth and the Moon. That, of course, the Moon is still not a dead world, and much more to learn about it. But here’s also some facto we were talking about. They were the Indian

nation that they landed at the south pole of the Moon. Well here’s fact from fiction. There’s still three hundred and seventy two miles away from the official south pole of the Moon. But they still go in the record book, John as doing something that no other nation has done, even that close to the south pole of the Moon. Well,

we always talk about the mystery of the week, and this is kind of a sad wad, you know, kind of a recollection of history. What happened to Malaysian Airlines Flight three seventy that again we know, took off from Kuala Lumpur back on March eighth of twenty fourteen, and as you know, as a pilot, they had some two

hundred and thirty nine souls aboard. The aircraft similarly disappeared off the radar and it’s thought to be a pilot situation, intentional you know, downing of the aircraft. But where is it? What’s the latest on this? So the latest information that we have, and this comes to news sources that I think are pretty reliable, is not the crash location or

the interception of the aircraft into the ocean to destroy it is some nine hundred plus miles off the western coast of Perth, Australia. Now, as many people look, John at that particular part of the world, that’s pretty much out there where there’s nothing out there totally the ocean.

But allegedly then July of twenty fifteen, a flap or a flaperon from that Triple seven allegedly shorgan washed up ashore on a place called Reunion Island, and that’s still twenty five hundred miles west of that impact area, where at least they think so. In summary, it’s so sad nobody’s really found this. There were searches and its continuance.

But John, it also reflects on something very somber, and I, along with so many people, as a native New Yorker myself, want to pass on or condolences to all those that perished, of course in nine to eleven, and all those that suffered again involving aircraft in that particular case, a most horrific terrorist attack. But as far as that I was helping.

Speaker 1 Steve Kates, I was hoping that maybe they were alive someplace is There was a lot of scientists on Boyd and one of the rumors, you know how rumors go along, you know how you bet that somebody hijacked them and took the scientists.

Speaker 2 Absolutely, John, but a sad story to report, but we wanted to talk about that. But also on a positive side, the Live Sky here’s something good I was out the other morning trying to find something which maybe the listeners will have better luck than myself. Comet Nishema known as Comet twenty twenty three P one, that’s official name. It’s

a comment that will be closest to the Sun on September eighteenth, twenty one million miles. It comes within seventy nine million miles of the Earth on the thirteenth of September. Why do I mention it because in the pair of binoculars, if you look low into the eastern sky, and we’ll direct you to a website called the skylive dot com,

you may be able to see it. Because what are comics, John? These are remnants from the creation of the Solar system, and this one one won’t come around for another maybe four hundred years. That and so many other things. How about this. We have the last of the supermoons, super full moons of the year that occurs on September twenty ninth.

We call it the super well full Harvest moon, a romantic full moon, but the last of the great supermoons. So many wonderful things to see in the sky. And why don’t we tell people? Always remind them? I always remember to keep lot your eyes to the skies, your feet on the ground, and check us out with the

Doctor Sky Experience proudly on WABC radio dot com. With the Doctor Sky Experience, always great things to talk about, John, And beautiful Sky is coming in September.

Speaker 1 Thank you so much, Steve Kates, otherwise known as Doctor Sky. And you know we’re drinking a cup of coffee this Sunday morning, and let’s dream a little and God bless you and God bless America.

Speaker 2 Thank you, John, have a good day.
