Automated transcript · uncorrectedSunday Morning with US as Victoria Coats, the Deputy National Security Advisor to President Trump, and Victoria, so many things are happening in Europe and Asia. Where do you want to start this Sunday morning?
Well, actually, John, I think I’d like to start in all of the places at once. And here’s where I want to do it. We have a situation emerging right now where we’ve got China, Russia, Iran, North Korea you can call them CRANK for short, all colluding in all of these hotspots that have emerged. And that’s China’s game.
So we’ve got our North Korean troops rather going into Ukraine to support Putin, We’ve got Iranian drones going into Ukraine for the same purpose. Then we’ve got Russian missiles and intelligence going into Yemen where the Iranian proxy, the Huji, are using these things to attack commercial shipping in the Red Sea. This is what we’ve gotten under four years
of the Biden harrisonministration. A world literally on fire. It’s hard to even know where to begin, but I think the fact that all of these four countries are now actively colluding to spread violence and anti American mayhem around the globe is what everyone needs to wake up to.
Oh yes, and it seems like the world’s on fire, are in so many different places that you know. The problem is the American people, I think, don’t really understand what’s happening, but they’re it’s a pallekech it can go off any place.
It is. And all of this has happened over the course of the last four years, which started in twenty one when the Chinese inked their deal with the Iranians, and in twenty two they have their deal with putin the partnership without limits. So this is what happens when you have a weak commander in chief, is you have
all of these things, these hot spots for out and not to date ourselves, but I’m old enough to remember nineteen seventy nine when we had the Iranian Revolution, we had the Russians in Afghanistan, we had the American hostages in Tehran, and things looked awfully bleaked in and as if we were looking at a World War three scenario.
But the good news is it took the inauguration of Ronald Reagan to turn all that around. So you know, even when times are dark, that is possible. But it shows us how critical, strong, consistent, determined American leadership is on the world stage.
So where do we go from here? I mean, if I think I’ve asked you this one time, if Israel and Iran go at it, and Israel looks like they really could happen, will China or Russia come to the eight or they’ll just let them hang?
Unfortunately, you know, five years ago, I might have said China would hang back and Russia would hang back and not want to get involved. But now that situation has changed, and I think there’s a pretty grim chance that we could see China or Russia engage, or North Korea with various types of support for Iran. And I’ve had some
very alarming conversations with regional partners who are supportive of an Israeli strike because they don’t like the Iranian nuclear program any more than we do, but are very concerned that under our current leadership, the secondary and tertiary effects of that are going to fall on them. That’s why you see, for example, the Saudi’s doing naval exercises this
week with the Iranians of all people, but they’re trying to send the signal that they don’t want to get hit, so you know, this is you know, this has a real danger of escalating the way it wouldn’t have five years ago.
So do people that are running things for President Biden going to be similar to the ones who’s going to run things if it’s if there’s a President Harris in the in the world can’t take that kind of mess?
Well, no, I mean it’s it’s it’s I think the highest stakes of what is a very high stake election coming up in ten days now is you know, what kind of world do you want to live in? Do you want to live in a world with these kinds of dangers, which, as I said, are not necessary. You know,
it is possible to avert this kind of thing, but you know, four years of fecklessness and weakness, if it’s followed by another four years, that might be much harder to recover from. Because at least with Carter, you know, after four years, you know, Regan was elected and was able to write the ship. I don’t know what happens
after eight years of this.
Yes, well, Victoria coach will talk to you during the week because the days are clicking by, And thank you very much for the weekend update.
Thank you, John. Take care
