Speaker 1 With us today is Attorney General David Yost and he is from Ohio, the state that is round on both sides and high in the middle. And he is the running for governor of Ohio. Well, Attorney General, tell us, how many years have you been into an attorney general now?

Speaker 2 Well, I’m finishing up my second term. When I’m done, it’ll be eight years.

Speaker 1 Wow, eight years. And have you seen things being more of a problem in the last few years than they were when you first started? Oh?

Speaker 2 My gosh, with the Biden administration, my friends in the military would call this a target rich environment. I mean, we’re suing the federal government for overstepping its bounds, solving problems until both boots are dirty.

Speaker 1 It’s just horrible. What’s going on. How are you doing with that problem that existed in Ohio through that train wreck?

Speaker 2 Yeah, we’ve sued the railroad. We’re working through that. I expect that they will make sure that there’s resources to make it right. But you know, interesting thing, we’re hearing a lot from our Republican candidate, mister Trump about concerns about immigration. Rightly, So, yesterday in Ohio I returned had indictments on six illegal voters people were non citizens, tried

to exercise the sacred American right of voting, and we’re going to hold them accountable in court.

Speaker 1 You know, Attorney General, See, I was going to call you a governor, a Chinese general. Tell us some states are having problems we’re voting, having people mail in ballots today. Arizona announced today that county in Arizona that they’re not going to be able to finish counting that county for eleven teen days. I mean, it’s crazy, incredible.

Speaker 2 Do you have that any problems like that in our oults will have results on election night?

Speaker 1 That is wonderful.

Speaker 2 I don’t understand what’s going on in places like Pennsylvania and Arizona.

Speaker 1 Well, in case they need more votes, they call in for them.

Speaker 2 I guess the old Box thirteen thing with Lyndon Johnson. Well, Coke Stevenson, Well, what was the old joke?

Speaker 1 You called Philadelphia, You called Chicago for more votes if they need him.

Speaker 2 I got to tell you there’s a little tech Republican town in my state. The Democrats have sued because they put tape and barrier around. They’re doing some renovations. The Democrats sued. They said it’s a voter suppression, to put a fence around the graveyard. That’s a joke.

Speaker 1 I know, I saw that. What else? Who you know? We’re twelve days, thirteen days, eleven days, whatever is away from the election. How do you see Ohio going? How do you see America got well?

Speaker 2 Ohio will go for Donald Trump for president. I think that they will retire Shared Brown and send Bernie Marino to the United States Senate. Across the country though this thing’s right in the balance, it matters who shows up.

And to all my friends out there that haven’t veiled themselves of the early vote, please bank your vote. I voted early for the first time other than an absentee, because I couldn’t live with myself if I got hit by a bus and I hadn’t cast a vote against these terrible things that we’re seeing in Washington, DC.

Speaker 1 I have never voted early, but this year I think that next couple of days, I am going to go vote, sir, because you can’t take a chance it’s going to rain, snow or whatever. Absolutely and uh and I think the freedom of the world depends on what happens in this vote for the next four years.

Speaker 2 I agree.

Speaker 1 Anything else you want to telling American people.

Speaker 2 You know, I’m still trying to get my head around the fact that I’m going to have to be rooting for the Yankees in the World Series. They took out my Cleveland Guardians raid at the yell. We were there.

Speaker 1 It was so I was mad at you guys. There was no reason you should have changed it from the Cleveland Indians. Well yeah, my perspective. My perspective is they called it it Cleveland and the Indians originally because they were honoring the Indians.

Speaker 2 Well that’s probably true.

Speaker 1 It is true. Well, well, I’m glad you’re rooting for the Yankees.

Speaker 2 And I got a swallow hard to do that.

Speaker 1 That this is the old Brooklyn Dodges.

Speaker 2 All right, there we go.

Speaker 1 All right, thank you so much, Attorney General Yost, and good luck and winning and you will win on November fifth. And thank you for having the results the same night.

Speaker 2 I appreciate your good wishes.
