Speaker 1 Sunday morning, nine days to the election. Witnesses Sunday Morning is Charlie Gasparino, a Fox News correspondent and one smart guy, and he a good friend, and he has a new book, Go Walk, Go Broke, and he’s got me as a fan because I really believe if you don’t work hard and you do stupid things, you’re not going to succeed

in life. Well, good morning, Charlie. Tell me what’s going on nine days for the election.

Speaker 2 Well, it looks like it’s a dead heat, with Trump pulling ahead or at least momentum switching to him. I you know, I hasten to I. You know, I don’t have pulling at my fingertips. Just the people I know that do and are very are increasingly confident Trump is pulling it out because like when you look at the

trend lines, you know, come out Harris peak kind of early. You know, the campaign of Joy got tremendous media attention, you know, front page articles. You know, you think she’s the second coming, and then all of a sudden, the American people were introduced to her, and you know, they got to know what she is, and increasingly many are

not liking what they hear from her like someone that equivocates on everything, that has no real policy, shops that can’t articulate a sentence. And you know, here’s the thing I think people forgot, Like everybody kind of knows Trump.

You know, you kind of know his negatives, you know his positives. There’s really not much you can add to. You know, you can try to slind into the last days, like now, there’s all this stuff about him being a Nazi, but you know, people are just so used to it by now, and they know he’s not a Nazi. By

the way, is you know he’s trust me, There’s there’s a candidate that Israel would really want one more one more or than the other. It’s definitely Trump over Kamala Harris. And it’s not because of his Nazi bonus.

Speaker 1 He has more common sense than a lot of other people. I know. In Charlie. The problem with President Biden, No, I’m sure he’s a nice man, but who is really running the United States of America. And then you have if President Tamala became president, I think it would be the same people are running President Biden’s campaign and we’re

in deep crap.

Speaker 2 You know, I agree with you I would just say this, I don’t know that Biden is a nice man. I mean, listen, I don’t agree with Donald Trump on all his policies, Like I’m very skeptical of the tariff stuff, but I know he’s a decent guy down. I just know because I know the guy. I don’t know that about about

Joe Biden. I you know, people I know him think he’s okay, but you know, you know, he’s just a typical politician that kind of swings with the wind and you know, and I just don’t see, you know, years and years of him doing stuff that’s decent. When I know average people that met Trump, they find him incredibly decent.

You know, he does things, he’s nice to. He’s nice to the cab driver. You know what I’m saying. That’s a decency. You know. I don’t know if that’s Biden. I don’t definitely don’t know if that’s Kamala Harris because we don’t know who she is. But I think your other point is, like, who’s running the show right now, Well,

it’s not Kamala Harris because she’s running for president. She doesn’t have the time. You can’t imagine it’s Joe Biden. It’s sort of this administrative state that you know, theoretically, according to Democrats runs on autopilot because it just sort of parrots progressive agenda. But it’s really anti democratic. It’s anti it’s unconstitutional if you think about it. Why should

unelected bureaucrats have so much power as they do right now over the American people, over your vote, over your sovereignty. That’s what’s going on right now. I think if Donald Trump does anything, and I believe he will do this, he will sort he will whittle down this strength and the sort of power of the administrative state. I’m pretty

sure people like Elon Musk, who he listens to, are telling them that because I follow Elan on Twitter and that’s what he says. And I think that will be a big thing for for those of us that that sort of cherished individual freedoms. And I think in terms of the economy, I mean, you know, this is where

Trump’s gonna pull ahead. You know where he’s stands. Okay, you might not agree with him on tariffs, but you might agree with him on deregulation, on taxes, and by the way, on taxing companies less if they move jobs here.

There’s nothing wrong with that. To me, that sounds like sound economic policy. At some point, you know, you get benefits from you know, eploying America’s not employing Indonesians. You know what I’m saying. And I think we don’t know where she’s stands. She can’t answer a simple question. I think it was David Axelrod who recently said, you know,

she was at some CNN town hall and she spoke gibberish when when answering questions. I mean, it’s just it’s really and I think that’s the problem that she has and her campaign has. It’s a it’s a campaign built on nothing. He’s built on something. He’s been there before.

He did perform overperform, outperform the expectations the last time. You know, this should be I mean, it should be an easy choice. It’s not because Donald goes have some you know, he has some blind spots, you know, or we don’t have to litigate all those here, and they’re not, by the way, they’re not his ten indictments over nonsense.

I mean he said, and he could. He gets ahead of himself sometimes net though I don’t know, John, what do you think I mean? Is this?

Speaker 1 I think I think he’s a very decent guy, and he’s the only one. He’s the only one with the courage to keep the free world free. And he’s the only one with the courage that he terrorizes the terrorists, that the terrorists are afraid of him if you.

Speaker 2 Want, if you worry about Israel’s survival, I mean, how could you put Israel in the hands of the Democratic Party. I have so many friends that are you know, progressive or I would say progressive liberal Jews from you know, we go out to dinner all the time, and they tell him how much they hate Donald Trump. And then

they turn around and they say, oh, but look what’s going on in Democratic Party? And I’ve got all these anti Semites running around the Hamas wing of the party is I’m like, what you saying to me? I mean, he’s right there, he’s he he is not he’s not a bad guy. You don’t like some of his personal attributes,

and he’s a friend of Israel. I mean, what are you talking about.

Speaker 1 Well, four years that he was president, Charlie, four years that he was president, there was no wars.

Speaker 2 But I don’t know think he kept us out of wars.

Speaker 1 And people have to realize.

Speaker 2 That we And by the way, Dick Cheney and all these people, I’m sure like they have fundamental reasons why Liz Cheney, who I knew.

Speaker 1 And I like maybe Dick Cheney still owns a part of that company. You know, remember what Eisenhower said, beware of the where was it the military industrial competence conflict?

Speaker 2 Well, guess what more than that?

Speaker 1 But they want to kill those companies that make the bullets and make the rockets. They want world wars and they want to kill people, and that doesn’t solve problems.

Speaker 2 John, I agree with you. I think it’s more than that. With with the Chinese, I don’t think it’s money. And you know, I’m aping something that Mark Alpern mentioned to Tucker Carlson, and I agree with this. They have a fundamental worldview of the US as a sort of global policeman, where we should be involved in every conflict and we

could do regime change. And if there’s one thing that you know, I’ve learned over the last twenty years of this of the war on terrorism, actually since nine to eleven, so it’s more than twenty years obviously, is that you know, you know, being that policeman regime change is something messy business.

And if you’re going to you know, get tell working class kids from from Middle America to you know, sacrifice their lives and their limbs, which is what happens when they come back. A lot of them their limbs are gone.

You better have a really good reason, you know, when you think back, Saddam was saying that exextential that we should have, that somebody Americans should have died. I mean, I had real questions with that. We didn’t even get that.

And Trump says we didn’t even get the oil.

Speaker 1 And I think I think someone would happen in two thousand something that we went after Iraq and uh, what a what a disaster that was?

Speaker 2 That’s what I mean. I mean, and you know, you know this is the world safer place that Omar Kadafi is dead in Libya and that there’s another like around him.

Speaker 1 Well, Saddam husseying, Uh was it who was in Iraq? Sudam right, what I’m saying, it was the checks and balances what Iran. They headed each other and they kept each other and check some balances when we took out and use it. And he wasn’t guilty of trying to say, you know, trying to nine to eleven or whatever.

Speaker 2 Yeah, and you know he, I mean, he’s a horrible guy. All these guys are there, they’re all horrible.

Speaker 1 But that’s what the world is all about.

Speaker 2 Why but why are we you know? We should put our our interests first? And you know, and I used to be a guy that thought, like, you know, we could win these wars, which we should and blah blah blah.

But if you think about it, we have so many problems here. I’m not saying we should stick our head in the sand, and I don’t think Trump would either, but we really got to take care of us first.

We have a.

Speaker 1 We’re running out of time, but I want to promote your book because it’s a great book. Go Won’t Go Broke. Is it on the bestseller list yet?

Speaker 2 No, but hopefully we’ll get it there.

Speaker 1 But I think it belongs there. And uh, I’m giving you a book party real soon next week, and all my friends that know me personally text me and I’ll get you an invitation. Thank you so much, see you on Monday. God bless you and God bless America.

Speaker 2 You got to job. Thank you. No
