Speaker 1 Sunday morning, a few days from Christmas. What us today is the former speaker at a house and we have Kevin McCarthy and Kevin Merry Christmas, and tell us what do you feel is going on in our country and what do you look as the future in America? Because New Year’s is just a week away, well, I.

Speaker 2 Will tell you to all your listeners, Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah. I hope you and your families are safe, but I hope you’re enjoying the holiday time together in the celebration for why we celebrated. But I will tell you this is a year of optimism. I’m feeling very excited about what new year brings. A new Congress, a

new Senate, the Republicans in the majority in January twentieth, a new president who’s prepared to govern even stronger than he was before. And I think it’s going to bring some stabilization in the world. You know, I just came back from the Middle East and then from Japan, and I will tell you people, people are excited about what’s

happening in America. American’s economy is stronger now, we’ve got good leadership. You see what’s happening in the markets. You see the potential. I do not want to waste this opportunity that we’re going to have for the optimism and the ability for growth and opportunity.

Speaker 1 I understood. And what do you look at? What do you think the first issues that Congress should take up in the new year.

Speaker 2 Well, I hope they get this funding done that they passed from the last year going forward and not slow down the president. I wanted to focus on the border, want to focus on energy, and I wanted to focus get that tax bill done so it’s not questioned about what the stability of the economy will even grow anything stronger.

Speaker 1 The issue that when I speak to some of our local congress people, what I speak to them about is I think we have to straighten out well the borders for sure right away. Uh, I mean, I can’t believe they want to they want to that President Biden wants to sell the wolves. I mean, what is that nonsense about.

Speaker 2 Well, he stopped building, he paid to store the but he had finished the wall. Now he wants to give it away just cost us so much money. But the damage he has done by just keeping the border wide opening of what was coming in look, President Trump is going to hit the ground running. He’s going to be

ready on day one with a lot of executive orders. So the border is going to get secure. He’s going to remove those gang members that have gotten into America illegally. He’s going to focus on our energy polish to bring inflation down and the energy costs. It’s also going to help us to be able to capture AI. Then he’s

going to look to bring stability. And you look at the eulations out there. He did such a great job last time in bringing that regulations out and what does that mean. It unshackles what’s holding back small businesses from making those investments something that you know so well and having new entrepreneurs grow. But then bringing the minds of

like Elon for to eliminate the waste in government. That just saves the taxpayer money, It curves inflation, it makes America even stronger.

Speaker 1 I agree with you. And the other thing I tell him on domestic issues that we have to straighten out the voting to make sure it’s one American, one vote, and there’s no more because you live in California, mister speak so, and they’re moving in more and more migrants and your governor says to people, you’re not allowed to

check their voting exactly.

Speaker 2 But you’re not only not check their voting, he gives the incentive for somebody to come illegal. He’ll give you free healthcare, free education, but it’s not free. The California taxpayer has to pay for it. And then what you’re watch in California, we’ve got people moving out because they can’t afford the affordability of California. You watch the crime

continue to rise. I mean, you watch homelessness. Brow It’s just not the California we knew before under GAVINUS and that becomes a real problem.

Speaker 1 I agree one hundred percent now on our international issues, I think Trump at on January twentieth at two pm is in to hit the ground running and take care of things. I believe. So.

Speaker 2 Look, he knows the job because he’s done it before. He knows the other leaders around the world, they highly respect him. We watch what he’s been transpiring, many of them coming and going to mar Alago just to meet with him and prepare. We’ve watched what he did by going over to France and Notre Dame and visiting a

lot of other four years. I think the world will be a little safer in a little stable right. Remember the only time Bouton and all the presidents he served under when he didn’t invade another country was under President Trump.

And so I think the world will be a little cool longer we’ll watch him ran get pushed back into the place that they’re meant to be. They won’t be able to us to sell this oil, so they can’t fund and take that money to fund. Although their proxy disrupt in the world. I think we’ll bring some stabilization.

You watch what is transpired and Syria and others, and I think the timing is right and the need for President Trump is right now as well understood.

Speaker 1 Now he’s President Trump has made a lot of appointments, and you know, look, not everybody is exactly what we want. But do you feel the same way.

Speaker 2 I feel very good. Look, there’s only one that was a myth that they could only last eight days, right, Matt Gates. And he just shouldn’t be anywhere near that administration. And President Trump realizes that too. But I mean these others he’s bringing in some of the brightest minds from the outside. It’s a swath across America different individuals with

different expertise. But I think you’re going to see some real shaking up of exactly what the voters wanted to see happen. And you got President Trump who is a disruptor, and rightfully so. This is a big bureaucracy that needs some disruption to be able to really be the voice of the American people.

Speaker 1 Sunday morning before Christmas, before a week before, ten days before New Year’s what do you want to tell the American people before we side on.

Speaker 2 Well, I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy New Year. I want you to give thanks for the family. I want you to actually stay their prayer for all those men and women in uniform who’s out there who keeps our world safe, who may not be home with their family on that day. Give

your family a big hug. But also, you know what, we are so blessed to live in America, the freedoms of what we have. You may have difference of opinion with somebody else, but they are Americans. Start this New Year’s off right, Let’s show a little love to one another, and let’s make a new commitment to being into our

communities and into our country. And given a little more back. And I think this is really going to be a prosperous year of year of opportunity and just fabulous for everybody.

Speaker 1 Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, Merry Christmas, and thank you for everything you’ve done for our country and continue to work hard for our country. And God bless you, God bless America. And I think by this election we saved the free world.
